Another birthday topic
man, it's birthday season at Dream Views! happy birthday to me today! i got what i wanted - all the bloody snow has melted! i'm not sure how much i trust it to last, however.

eek, my 23rd is coming up this summer, and my buddy had his yesterday....
this year you officially pass into you mid-twenties...bwahahaha

aaahh! you're right! i am in my mid-twenties now! i didn't even think about that!
i've spent the last couple of years thinking that once you pass 21 it doesn't really matter any more . . .

thanks everybody! my wife and i went out to chili's for dinner last night, courtesy of a gift card given as a birthday present by my parents-in-law. it was great. they give you free dessert on your birthday, so i had the molten chocolate cake, which is this big piece of cake, drizzled with caramel and fudge sauce, with a scoop of ice cream on top, and a hard chocolate shell on the ice cream. then, we went to church choir, and had more cake and ice cream after that, then back to my place with a friend who had his birthday a few days before mine, where we watched the Arrested Development dvd's that he got for his birthday. then my wife and i went to bed where we . . . well, you don't really need to know that.
so all in all, it was great.
btw, i share my birthday with Eric Clapton. if i had been born one day earlier (the 29th) i would share with Eric Idle. a day later (31st) and it would have been Franz Joseph Haydn. the end of march is a good time to be born.
