Really...
why?
Unfortunately the snow in my city is slighted polluted thanks to the pollution from those industrial assholes in Hamilton blowing onto my city.
But when I go up north I always spew gatorade on random snow and eat it.

'scuse the limey,
but what's a snow cone?
Must be an American thing, because I haven't heard of it either.
lol
that sounded like a marketing tag-line
fair enough
like slush puppies, then
Basically, it's snow with a flavored syrup poured on it, on a cone, eaten like Ice Cream.
And I haven't had one in YEARS!
I want one now...
I absolutely hate slush puppies
it's the candy floss of drinks and has caused more harm than good
avoid at all costs
It's the bane of British summers
it really is
I used to work in a day care centre for disadvantaged kids
and we used to take them out on day trips quite regularly
One day, during the summer heat wave a few of years back, we took them to Alton Towers
Now apart from turning their heads so they walked in the right direction
and occasionally mopping dribble off the park map, it was quite a good day out, until mid-afternoon, after we'd rounded everybody up for lunch
and someone asked if they could have a slush puppie.....
of course, every bastard wanted a slush puppie
and I was conned into paying for them
and of course I got everybodies flavour wrong
a couple of the kids bolted theirs down so fast, they got brain-freeze and one started crying
and then there were the wasps....
now slush puppies are weird, cause as you rightly pointed out, they're cold and soggy - so the sensible thing to do, is serve them in cardboard cups
if left for a time, these cups leak.....it's a hot summers day anyway
so there's going to be the occaisional wasp buzzing around
but these drinks are bloody magnets for them
anyway, long story short
I ended up having to rinse someone's shoes out in the log-flume water - which I then got told off for by one of the park staff
had to dispose of a dozen 'orrible sticky cups in a bin so full it was like a house of cards
I really hate the stuff
it ruins lives

snow cone
crushed ice + flavored stuff
Of course we have slush puppies (at least in Canada). They're all over convenience stores, fast food resteruants, and movie theatres.
