Well, now. That was an interesting quote. Anyway, I enjoy play the Grand Theft Auto series, and other things that might have violence in them, but I also know that it all fictional. I have more desire to truly hurt another than before.

There are some people that games or movies like that, that can effect a person, but for most of us. We can watch or play those things without going out and actually doing the acts. If it's a child that is impressionable like that, then it's up to the parents to raise the child, not the nintendo, TV, PS, Ect.

I find it really maddening when people think people want to kill because "HIGH SCHOOL SUCKS" or bullies, peer pressure, or embarrassment, or aggression. People always try to associate killing with being sad.

I have both games, I do not watch The Sopranos. There's no violence in these games that make people do what they sometimes do [kill stuff].

I disagree on this point, murder is usually because some one is mad. Though, some people do for the pleasure of it.

Killing, the term anyway, is more of a gray area. Police and Military do it in the line of duty at times. Others do it to protect themselves and there own.

true that killing is associated with being mad but maybe peolpe that kill are mad sad excluded people. yeah he is normal i agree i can relate to him in some way.BTW we all need a little help sometimes

Anyway, playing the GTA series hasn't made me want to go people(as of yet) for I have a distinct line between fantasy and fiction vs. reality. However, not everyone that plays that game does.

I have however sometimes felt the desire to run over motorcycles in real life, for I always do this in the game in order to grab the for myself...(this is true it happened once when I wasn't really paying attention and had played GTA:VC for like 4 hours before that...)

GTA3 and Halo were the games with the best replay value on my list...

I've definately thought I was a psycho cuz I was so different from everybody else. *I was a paranoia*

I'm a mixed bag of emotions about ya. I would lie if I've felt like I've never wanted to kill someone. But, you worry me, man. You'd be happier w/o the rage. So take it easy, ok?

...as for the videogames, really they may make you kinda feel that way, but only people who are already messed up will actually act on those feelings...also those people who have trouble discerning fantasy from reality are messed up too...its called skizophrenia, yes?

as for movies/TV...i think they get far too real, and the violence is so often totally justified...


in short i am pro-videogame, con-tv/movies

tho really, parents should be regulating all this crap from their supple, maleable children's minds...

Wer I would never want to shoot up our school while we were there anyway and I am as crazy as I say and you for one should know that

I wouldn't ever shoot up my school, but I know I have visions of shooting my Art Teacher across the classroom and watching him die a painful death; because quite frankly he's a complete slimeball and for no reason whatsoever has decided to make my double art lessons every Wednesday a complete nightmare.

I want to get those meatclamp things and put them on this one guy thats the biggest asshole in the world, I want to grab his ribs near his chestbone and then hold him back and let a machine rip him open like that.. ya. That'd be cool. *goes to a slaughterhouse*
