Greg.
James Goldney,
Yeah, so what if my DV name isn't imaginative.
Michael Poulos, Poulos is sead "poll-is", its Greek
Take a guess...
From the latin 'patrician' meaning nobleman. My actual name is Richard John Patrick Smith, but since my dad is called Richard, people call me Patrick. It causes hell with paperwork.
I have the exact same problem. My real name is Philip Thomas James Goldney. My dad's Philip Tom as well, so on the registers at school they usually call out Philip. It's very annoying.
PS. I'm fairly certain that patrician isn't a word in latin. They all usually end in -a, -um or -us.
From wiki:
"The term "patrician" originally referred to the elite of ancient Rome; the term was a specific title given to high court officials during the time of the late Roman Empire.
The word "patrician" is derived from the Latin word patricius (plural patricii), which comes from patrēs, the plural of pater ("father"). "
Plus, I took latin for a long time at school, and It's definitely been used before.
Yeah, it's derived. It's not actually patrician in latin, is what I was getting at.
PS. I also learn latin.
Ah, fuck it, why not give my personal information away on the interwebs:
My first name is actually 'Ouren'. Yess.. Don't worry, even the dutch find it to be a silly/rare name. Also, a cookie for people why my nickname in Neruo.
Also, my middle-name thingy is "Xander". Pretty kickass.

My real name is Matt, but my nicknames are:
Dr. Dickwad
Prof. Pencil-dick
Mr. Mutton head

General Gasbag

My second name is weird and embarassing so i'm not going to share!
My name is Taylour. My name has no actual meaning since according to the internet my name does not exist because it is spelled wrong. If my name was written as everyone forces it to be, then it would mean: A tailor
The 'correct' spelling of my name is Taylor and is pronounced 'TAY-lor'
But since I am Canadian and Canadians like to keep the 'ou' in everything, my name is pronounced 'TAY-lur'
My name's Kale.
If you couldn't figure it out my name is Erin which last time I read meant peace. This is also the last thing I bring to a situation. My middle name is quite original and I have learned to love it. And for my last name I find it quite simple but people find it hard to pronounce. For those actual names for my middle and last I'll keep to myself ;)
hello. My name is Rebecca Escobar.
I Am Jean Luc Pickard of the U.S.S. Enterprise
