Darn those drunks looking for a fight

Warning, bad language therein.

Can't sleep. My heart and head are going 1000 miles an hour... So I decided to post up this little event that happened a few hours ago...

I'm old... Too old for this BS. So here is the story.

I head up to the bar. Walk in and place some coins on the pool table as I walk to the bar stools. Order up my drink sit on a stool and start to wind down...

Three 18-22ish kids are at the pool table, enjoying the game with friendly teasing along the way.

This one guy is getting a little too drunk (and angry) and leaves the table with his friend to smoke a joint outside.

His other friend, the one who won the game, invites me to play while his buddies are outside.

Now these guys placed enough money on the table to monopolize the table for the entire night. But this guy, a jovial fellow, invites me to cut in.

We set up the game. Meanwhile, the taller, drunker, meaner guy walks in all insulted, mouthing that I stole his coins... His friend handles it. I loose the game and sit.

Watching the game now, the tall guy keeps eying me. He is upset and looking for a fight. The look in his eyes tell everything. Don’t care who, I gotta beat someone’s head in look. The look of a killer.

Now, I'm not that kinda guy. I know shit about fighting. So I try not to make eye contact but he makes it impossible.

Anyway, later in the evening, these guy are outside, enjoying another refer. This car drives up to the curb and someone asks for directions to get to the highway. The jovial guy tells them to turn right and they will see it soon. The car drives off, makes the stop and then....

The tall guy starts to yell out, NOO, turn left you stupid moron. The people in the car start turning left...

Well, I hate people who fuck with me and I don't fuck with people so I yell out. No, it's right, that guy is lying to you. The car makes the sharp right and proceeds on its way... The right way.

So, the guy turns to me and starts yelling. You think your some kind of hero telling them where to go you fucker.

No, I say. I don't like people fucking with others for their own pleasure. I replied.

Man, the guy would have figured it out eventually! He said

Meanwhile his friends are gunning for their car. While he starts going at me. You think it’s funny. He said (WTF, this guy is like a fucking dream character conjured up by the devil himself hehehe). His eyes show no remorse, might I push it too far and say if I were to look deep and long enough, I would find no glimmer of a soul in there, just a head bashing puppet in destroy mode.

Who the fuck do you think you are (again) some kind of hero?

I reply, to the people in the car on the way to the hockey game, I am.

Man, you are pushing your luck. He snarls

He is almost two feet taller than me. His eyes are now filled with anger. He shoves me. I have a beer and a cigarette in my hand. I can’t do anything even if I knew how.

I do step back while he shoves, limiting the damage. Now he, with two fingers, taps his chin while giving the devilish grin. Come on you fucker, give it your best shot. He wants me to punch, give him a real excuse to beat me to a pulp. I’ve see the look in his eyes, the look of a murderous wife beating MF. In 10 years, that guy will probably end up in jail for killing someone.

I offer no response. The waitress comes out. Again, I say Go Away and so does she…

You are one lucky sonofabitch you bastard as he walks away, you better watch your back!. His friends are waiting in disgust.

What a fucking buz kill that was. We should be allowed to exterminate these people hehehe. Meanwhile, the guy managed to bestow fear in my head that is gonna last for weeks. I wonder if he’s going to wait for the right time and spot. Small town. I’m gonna run in to him again.

You have to be some pretty disturbed fuck to try to instigate a fight with people twice your age. Here’s a gun, here’s a bullet, do the world a favour and walk away from this place.

Icuurd, you're now talking to somebody who is EXTREEEEEEEEEEMELY opinionated on this subject. I hate people like that like you wouldn't even believe. Those pieces of shit don't give a damn that you have few nights to really relax and have a good time. Their self esteem is so low that taking that away from you actually gives them a pis ant bump of false pride. They are total sociopaths, and I don't think they deserve to breath the air the rest of us breath. When I was a kid, I ran into that a few times. It went too far some of those times, and I had no choice (so I thought) but to fight them. Fortunately, I won those fights, but I hate their guts for putting me in that situation. Nobody with real self esteem goes out and does that. Nobody with a conscience does that either. I have actually run into that crap in recent years, and I am 35. Those situations are much easier to handle now because at this age I am not going to be hurt socially when I threaten to call the police. It would hurt me a lot more socially to show up at a playground and fight somebody. That would be so trashy. A good question to ask people like that is, "Do you want to go to jail?" You can also say, "If you try that shit you're talking about, I'm just going to put you in jail, sue you out of everything you ever own again, and still enjoy the rest of my beer."

Along with being sociopaths who believe deep down that they are pieces of shit because they are, those are some of the most pathetic people on Earth. If a great basketball player wants to prove that he is great at basketball, he joins a basketball league and proves it by playing with other great basketball players. If somebody wants to prove he is great at math, he does it by making A's in math or becoming an outstanding engineer or professor. Similarly, a person who is a great fighter and wants to prove it JOINS A FUCKING BOXING LEAGUE!!!!! Those piles of garbage that go out and pick fights with people who look like they don't even want to fight are the cheesiest cowards out there. Did you ever see Michael Jordan going up to random strangers and saying, "What! You think you can beat me in basketball? Come on!!!" How sad would that have been? You should make that point to them before you threaten to have them in jail. If they make fun of you for making that threat, say, "I'm not white trash on a seventh grade level. If you are, I hope you're ready to spend the next few years of your life in a court room, loser. And tell your father I said to fuck off for not giving a shit about raising you." The abbreviated and probably more effective thing to say would be, "Are you ready to spend the next few years of your life in a court room? I'm not playing around with you at all." Then stare at him like you 100% meant what you said. You might want to call the police now and even file a civil suit against him. Shoving you was a commission of assault and battery. You could tear him a new asshole in civil court over that after making him deal with criminal court, as it is right NOW. I also suggest getting a concealed weapons permit and pulling a gun or whatever is allowed in Canada on the next bastard the first time he shoves you. Nobody has any right to do that to you.

This subject makes my blood boil. It's always the trashiest people, sociopaths who are scorching with inferiority complexes, that do that pathetic crap. They are no better than rapists and armed robbers. I wish all of them the worst. You have the upper hand by far because the law is 100% on your side. Good luck.

Oh, yeah, people who would think that learning to fight (martial arts) actually helps deal with problems and they are taught never to use their skills in something other than self defence... That is a load of crap. believe me I hear that BS many times from those guys. They usually go and make trouble just to see what they would be capable of doing. You know, the kind of things they don't do in class like actually puching hard enough to cause damage or really breaking the other guy's arm... That guy knew what he was doing. The way he moved, he learned it in martial arts class I'm sure (My brother takes classes so I know). Also why he was begging for me to hit him back. I have yet to meet (in this region) someone who knows martial arts and have a stable mind (below 30 yo) to go with the skills. Fucking rural town and their beaten up screwed up abused little kids.

Makes for a bad batch of teenagers and young adults.

If it happens again, he'll have to deal with the law for a long time. I have all the time in the world.

And, no, in Canada, you can't have weapons at all. Kindof a good thing too, otherwise he would be dead right now or I would. And killing people in self defence, even in your own home, means jail time here if you use a gun. Don't know about my samorai sword though. I think they (judicial system) would frown at the fact that I would use it to protect myself in my own home. 5 years in jail maybe?

Oh, I agree. I don't want them learning how to fight. I don't want them joining boxing leagues. I was just saying that people who do that junk that guy did to you are generally not great fighters because if they were, they would already be in boxing leagues or UFC or something. The fact that they go out and pick fights with people who look like they don't want to fight proves that they aren't even good at the one thing they want to prove to the world they are good at. That's what I was saying. But yeah, I hope they continue to be mediocre or worse at fighting.

What's really beautiful is when they go out and start shit with an innocent person and the innocent person tries for a while to talk down the situation, to no avail, and then the innocent person ends up agreeing to fight and beats the ever living Hell out of the fight picking moron. Then what does the fight picker have going for him? Nothing. That is such justice!

Agreed. It's good to have an outlet for your behaviour but in this case, the outlet has the potential of making you more dangerous. In any case, I, for one, you agree to this too, would rather keep 'em dumb and blind, as far as fighting knwledge is concerned.

We should all have a psycho alert button on our wrists to be able to call for instant support... Police, ambulance and the psych squad... Instant incarceration in the nut house and intense psycho babble until the guy breaks down and becomes something acceptable to sociaty... But I digress.

Yeah. But that usually only happens in movies. I'd rather see the entire bar stand up and gun for the guy (knock him down with a few painful but harmless jabs) while the police gets there to lock him up. 'Cause really, I don't want to test the theory that I could kick his ass, and potentially be the one locked up for killing the guy 'cause I don't know how to fight so, as wierd as it sounds, I could be very dangerous.

Count me in for supporting that cause. We need to make it a social custom that everybody knows about, just like shaking hands and giving Christmas presents. People need to be taught at a very early age that anybody who goes out and unjustifiably tries to start violence gets sat on by everybody around until he can be shipped off to a padded cell.
