Well, welcome back. Where you been?

I don't like spelling thru the right way. I'm trying to get a movement started to leave off the stupid letters in words. So far I think it's just me tho.

Yes. I'm still considering "nite" and "rite", altho I'm not sure if I should totally change the spelling of words or just stick to shortening them.

Would you like to join me in this movement? Think of the amount of work that will be saved by our fingers not typing those useless letter.

Colour is superior to Color in my opinion. No wait, in fact... it is, opinion or not.

No, no, that's all wrong, we've taken care of that one already. Same with adding "e" and "o" where they don't need to be, like aeon and oesophagus.

Neko, you just keep telling yourself that, but don't come crying to me when you get carpal tunnel syndrome from repetitive use injury.

i am shocked! those useless letters are there for a reason, even if they are useless.
its so that people dont think you are lazy!! by typing two more letters in a word, you can give off the impression of being hardworking, and striving for perfection. unless you dont care about being a waster, wich i dont think anyone does, including me.

Ah, but the advantage of longer words (i.e. with "useless" letters) is it's easier for the reader work out what they are if you make a spelling mistake. Full circle!

      Written english is very redundant.
Linky! It can be compressed to less than 1.5 bits per character. So if you could strip all the redundancy you could limit yourself to just three letters, without having to type any more!

yea I hate those useless letters. In French they are everywhere.
I also hate words like "necessary", which are impossible for me to spell correctly without a spell-checker. Why not just make it "nesesery"?
