I'm confused as to why you have Naota (boy from FLCL) in your signiture and your name under it. shouldn't you have some credit or copyright information somewhere to whoever owns the character? >:

A person could stay busy just reading other peoples posts. Really posting should be done when you feel you have some input into the conversation as opposed to ya, OH, or I was going to say that. It is not about post count. What is that saying. Quality over quanity - somthing in that regard.

To be honest I don't dream alot cuz i stay up late then wake up 6 hours later. So I really can't talk about dreams cuz i don't have anything to sa.

You don't have to make profit on a copyright to get sued. But your use of the character probably falls under fair use anyway, but they're sketchy guidelines and I would of probably stuck something like "Naota character © [the author]", to make it pretty clear you didn't draw that bit there.

Look, you go to nintendo or whatever drew that character and show the (old) avatar thing and they'll just jump about all excited and sue you for loads of money.

And where you use it dosen't matter. A children's nursery was sued for using disney characters on their walls. I suppose fair use might count but it's a flaky rule set.

And with todays twisted legal system the'd get away with it. People sue to get money.

It's still absurd. If you're not making a profit out of it, then it should be fine. That's all my opinion of course.

well, im not positive what it means to him, but have you ever read Hitchhikkers Guide to the Galaxy? great books...long story short, a huge computer was created a long time ago to find out the answer to life the universe and everything...after hundreds of thousands of years of contemplating the computer finally gets a result...the number '42'...of course, this deosnt make sense, so they ask the computer what 42 means...the computer then replies that, that is indeed the answer to life the universe and everything, but are they sure they knew what they were asking for the begin with...so they make a new computer to find out the question to the answer to life the universe and everything...which is earth

...anywho, great books...very big in the satire department

I thought the number was 61 or 64.. lol. That was a good book, I obviously must read it again though if I can't remember the damn number..
