Anything you remember? Music,movies, fashion,cartoons?
I remember well the days of VHS and music cassettes. Atari, not so much, but I remember my old Tandy computer that ran Windows 3.1 and had Commander Keen. And I still hear that 56K modem every time I connect to the internet.
Remember when...
Cokes came in glass bottles?
You could take a pocketknife to school?
Kids played marbles in the dirt, without any fancy Leapfrog or iPod?
The Cosby Show was good TV?
Renting a movie on Saturday night meant an old western, like The Outlaw Josey Wales?
They played good music on the radio?
Johnny Cash was The Man In Black?
Beanie babies!
Tom and Jerry and Bugs Bunny and Road Runner...
Really annoying girls screaming about the Backstreet boys. :P
My very small apple computer which played this really nice tune at startup. Looked like a box.
My parents still listen to cassettes. Lol We still have a car that only has a cassetee player. He he
I used to be obsessed in the Back Street Boys and Britney Spears. :D
Anyone else remember that hairstyle? You know, that hairstyle. (I'll find a pick and post it later.)
How about Furby's and ring pops?
I remember when the Atari first came out. My brother and I went to the Sears to play one in the store. Later he bought one. Tanks rocked!
When this song lyric made sense:
I love rock 'n' roll
So put another dime
In the jukebox, baby
:tunes:
We had Pong. On a black and white TV. And eight-tracks. They sucked because the song would quit in the middle to pick up on anther track.
The first one's a star-thing and the second one is some weird egg-shaped thing, I can't tell :?
I loved those things - I can do them really easily... I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing though... :imslow:
Wow that brings back memories! haha
ooh yeah good one, my sister and I loved those cartoons. :D
Hmm, I think I know what you mean... ;)
"French-rolling" your pants at the bottom so they were super-tapered leg :D Also paracute pants, and stonewashed jeans with zippers up the leg.
Feathered hair or crimped hair. With big bows.
Friendship bracelets you braided with cross-stitch "floss"
British Knights shoes and Jordache jeans.
DOOM was high end 3D graphics
Everyone had AOL
Hey there is a new show on called The Simpsons!
I also remember a very long time ago, George Bush was president, gas prices were continually rising, and we at war with Iraq. Ah the 90's thank go we came to our senses.
:rolllaugh: Oh, that is good, ninja.
Yay! I made her signature.

i HATED furbys. they wouldnt ever shut up. one time i was at my friends house and we woke it up after abour 6 months. it wouldnt be quiet so he threw it on the ground as hard as he could. It started twitching. we were laughing so hard! it wouldnt stop twitching its eyes and beak so we stuffed it under some blankets under his bed. 3 days later, still twitching :lol:Quote:

Felicity was great until those points yeah. I think the whole time traveling thing at the end was a veeeerryyy desperate attempt on the writers' part to save the show. Ouch. :makeitstop:

I loved the magic eye things, I had a whole book of them and can now see those kind of things from every angle.
Biggest part of my childhood where four things...X-men, Voltron, Power Rangers, and Beast Wars. Could not get enough of it
I got an Atari in 1982, which was when they became huge. I was in the fifth grade. I played it all the time, and so did every kid I knew. Do you remember the games? Pacman, Frogger, Defender, Pitfall, Space Invaders, Combat, Pong. Awesome stuff. I want to buy an Atari off Ebay.
I had a very large tape collection in junior high and high school. Then CD players became obviously a better system than tape players, so I got a huge CD collection. Now I mainly listen to burned CD's. My tapes seem to have evaporated over the years.
Tapes were like $8 each, and they were so easy to pop in an out of a car stereo. They definitely had their advantages.
