This is gonna sound paranoid - or worse, an attempt to get attention... but anyway, here goes...

I noticed I tend to get ignored a fair amount... except about that program I wrote perhaps.
Is there something in particular that people find they dislike about me?
Or is it just my imagination or coincidence?

I've seen you around a lot, and I personally don't ignore your posts. Most of them are actually valueable/insightful. I don't know why you have that impression...

Anyway, a lot of everyone's posts get ignored, so don't sweat it...

I don't ignore you, in fact I do read and am impressed with most of your posts. You give insightful and wise answers and bring up some very interesting issues.

I wish I did have time to answer every post, sigh, but there is so little time....

Exactly, when I log in every day and have 350-450 unread posts, its pretty hard to cover every single post. It generally takes me all day do catch up on the posts I have replied to, senseless, lounge, newbie and general...I barely ever get the chance to look at other boards.

Everyone here feels that need to know 'where they fit in'

Moderators for example might be the queen bees keeping the colony alive. But us worker bees keep the flow going so it depends on each other.

As for all the times we have all posted numerous pages of imformation for which we think is worth a mini nobel prize but knowone here makes a reply post to it, don't worry im in the same boat.

I think it was just like Xistence hinted at, when you post something that you consider to be a great idea, and good thinking, etc. And then everyone ignores you and leapfrogs to a different subject.

It's normal, cos like you all say, just because there was no comment doesn't mean it wasn't appreciated
Theres just way too many posts on the forum to reply to all of them

So just imagine if you had to keep abreast of ld4all ! ... dag nabbit!
