Boxers for me, usually of the tight fitting variety, I don't like briefs, but don't like the loose feeling of baggy boxers, so some tight Calvins or something like that do me :)
I can see all the girls (and bi/gay guys replies now....)

When travelling on long trips, its briefs. For comfort, the boxers seem to go travelling up the pants too much!

I only have two pairs that do that guerilla, and I don't wear them much. Also I'm quite slim around the waist, so that could be another reason.
In the way of trousers I wear jeans all the time, except for school obviously.

I wear briefs, so much more practical than boxers, it's impossible for the dreaded waistband-around-your-armpits to occur which you can get with boxers.
Also if you're climbing (or playing any sports) you need the "support".
