Yeah I have that problem occasionally. The only way I figured out how to solve it is to do a windows restore to some point a few days before the problem started. You have to have xp for that though... |

Microsoft is too frikin vulerable. I have been infected with a hijacker called incredifind. Its basically adware that came with something i downloaded. It takes over ie making it into a search basically. Anything i type would make a search. So i uninstalled it. Went into registry and removed it, and deleted the bho module. Incredifind is gone but i have also screwed up IE. Tried everything and its impossible to fix. So both kaniaz and ffx are right. Firefox/mozilla is more user friendly and safe. And i recomend only using IE if you know what you are doing. I didn't have a clue what happened and this has made me a smarter computer user. Tho i still can't fix IE. |

I work for our school district and we've been using a pop-up blocker from Google. I don't know exactly how we got it but it works very well! I'm an IE user, but our district is thinking about new browsers like Firefox.... *going to cry* |
