      Free Music?

Does anyone here download free music from something like morpheus or kazaa or limewire or something?

If you want to here are the sites:

      http://morpheus.com/

      http://www.kazaa.com/us/index.htm

      http://www.limewire.com/english/content/home.shtml

Go check them out if you don't already have 'em!

      FREE + LEGAL MUSIC:

Windows media player, click on media guide, then do a search for a song and/or artist. Click File> save media as to save it... THe only problem is that they dont have a really wide selection of music, only most of the recent songs.

i dont know why i didnt notice this before but NEVER EVER use kazaa. Use Kazaa LITE. It's a hacked version with no spyware or viruses.

just wanted to put my input...again

Jin, I don't think you're thinking clearly. People have been sued for hundreds of thousands of dollars for file sharing. But if you're a BIG risk taker . . .

Yes, i had kazaa lite, and its SUPER better.

And its only illegal if you DISTRIBUTE songs, not take them. The government actually likes people taking songs, because it gives more information to trace the distributors by.

all music sharing should be legal...screw these stupid bands that want to rip off everyone with CDs...they put 1 or 2 good songs on each CD and then 'fill' the rest with crap (they never actually fill the CD)...they save any good songs they make for the next CD...then they make tons by allowing radio stations and TV stations to air their music, and then concerts and merchandizing...its a bunch of BS...if musicians wanna make money, let them make money on live shows and merchandizing, not ripping people off with all this CD BS

...and if you say 'oh! but its their livelihood!' ill say it again, they can make money on live shows and merchandizing...i make music myself, but you know what? i distribute it free of charge to anybody that wants to hear!

BS. The RIAA are in trouble because the judge said:

Judge: Well, you're going to have to file EACH CASE SEPERATELY YOU GITS.

So now the RIAA have to make like, 10,000 seperate cases which in the legal charges will be higher than the compensation they get. And I think they've only won 3 cases so far. Sucks to be them.

Get shareaza and peerguardian then p2p away.

Lomebribon draw me a riaa smacker. now, you fiend.

Werburn. exactly! they are rich and they need to stfu

you know this reminds me of a southpark episode based on this downloading music thing. they go to the aritsts house and they see the artists crying. then the RIAA guy says "Look at him! do you know why he's crying!? It's because he can't get he gold-encrusted pool! and do you know why?! because you download music"

or "See his son over there? His dad promised to buy him an island, but now that people like you started downloading music. he won't be able to afford it. that's right. it's yuor fault he's not going to be able to get his son an island for christmas!"

      well you get the idea...
