organised religion.
It is not a good idea to announce what your worst fears are. You don't want your enemies to ever use the information against you.
I think they already know. my fear is for tose lost souls who ar mind f****d and try to controll the world. As for my self no personal fear, cause I'm free of all that s**t.
My worst fear is presenting to a large audience. It succeeds my fear of death.:(
being attacked by nasty big bugs.
That is the most common one, and it is very extreme. It is a self-perpetuating fear because the fear is that you are going to act fearful, which makes you more fearful, which makes you more fearful, etc. The thing to remember is that it is an understandable fear, so there is no reason to be fearful of looking fearful. It is completely understandable. The more you speak publicly, the easier it gets. If you do it enough, you will lose the fear.
I got better at public speaking when I learned a trick. My biggest fear about it was getting so nervous I could not talk. There were a few times when I became almost frozen solid and unable to say another word. I learned that the problem there was that I was so nervous that I was forgetting to breathe. My lungs were out of air. That is why I almost could not talk. Knowing that made a huge difference.
My worst fear... hmmm....
Your mum
Seriously o.o;
Spiders.
That is all.
no control
Administrators.
Being forgotten or betrayed by every one you love and all your friends, this includes family (Complete horror)
and
Little Demonic girls..I don't know why, but the whole concept just freaks me out
Just thinking that sends a shill up my spine
Or an even bigger fear is going into a dark building by yourself, the sort of building which the white sheets over the furniture (shivers)
Flying. Now that's irony. A duck afraid of flying?
Oh and Leo Volont too...
My biggest fear is forgetting to put on my pants and going to school without one.. this keeps haunting my nightmares! :(
hmmm............my loss of control and being sent to Hell.
No wait, having my whole world turn into Silent Hill.
Or having Jupiter explode.
Whats it about?
She makes people burn or something.
I don't know if I am afraid of a single solid object, but things to tend to startle me from time to time, and may seem frightening, but not enough for me to actually call it being "afraid". Darkness I suppose would have to be it because being in the dark allows our minds to imagine what we are "afraid" of with less distraction, making it that much more scary...hmmm
I'm afraid of the thought of nonexistence, though I realize how cheesy and pointless of a fear that is.
Being stuck on an internet forum, forever
flying ants :embarrassed:
ants should not be able to fly...simple as
Medication... I. Don't. Know. Why.
I don't exactly know my #1 top fear but, I have quite a few big ones:
Heights
Open Spaces
Bugs*
Snakes*
Scorpions*
Public Speaking
Grass Trimmers (the ones with that plastic chord that trims grass, they terrify me!)
how can you be afraid of open spaces?wtf? its like if someone drives you out into and open field and drops you off there and you freak out cause there is nowhere to hide or something?i'm sorry i just don't get that one public speaking on the other hand.
How can you not get it? Open fields make me dizzy, like open area's, I feel like theres nowhere to be safe, I need walls and ceilings to make me feel safe and secure, I know it sounds odd but, open spaces like, most outdoor areas...scare me
I'm nearly indoors 98% of the time, keeping me from freaking out....I mean I can go outside around the neighboorhood and stuff, but being out in the open just makes me panic and I get vertigo and dizzyness,
I feel like im going to fall into space.
Thats right, I feel like I'm going to fall upwards..its a strange fear but, I can't stop it, it paralyzes me from doing alot of social activities, I can't go camping or hiking or eat outdoors, Theres something about not having a roof over my head that scares me.
If there is no roof, I get panicky inside and my mind races thinking im gonna freak out, therefore making me freak out even more.
It's really strange but, I'm stuck with this fear.
Even when I'm driving, having the sun roof open kinda scares me a little bit, but having a seat belt on reassures me That I'll be okay.
Driving a convertible, motorcycle would be like panic mode for me, I've got issues :(
lol thats odd.:P everyone has their quirks i guess:roll:.
Yea, only for me its not fun, its kinda terrifying. I think dramamine helps me a little bit with that motion sickness type of feeling, but it makes you drowsy...Next time I go outdoors on some kind of, trip or something I gotta buy dramamine....
Its an anti-emitic (spelling?), makes you feel less dizzy or vertigo, which is my problem precisely, the other problem is the anxiety I feel because of being dizzy, which xanax may help but I can't exactly goto the store to buy xanex....
Speaking of, why doesn't the FDA approve benzodiazapines for OTC? lol i would love to see that!
Some kind of Spider-wasp hybrid, like a massive bird eating spider with freakin wings or something. I know it doesn't exist but holy crap the thought of that scares me.
Also, I'm afraid to look in a mirror in a lucid dream. I saw the same sort of thing on this forum a while ago and now im scared of it as well :(. just don't know what's gonna be on the other side looking back at me.
Make sure you never go to Kansas. It is totally flat with hardly any trees. You can see all the way to the horizon in all directions. It is like ocean made of soil. Central Illinois is like that too, if I remember accurately from when I woke up way too early on the train going to Chicago more than a decade ago.
