Used to say 'yellow' as 'leyo'
Used to say Cavalry as Calvary, and Pennsylvania as Pennyslavia. Only two I can think of...
I used to say solid as salad alot, I could never say filter clearly, it always sounded like falter there was this thing were my older brother and sister had me say everything with pumpkin at the beginning of it because I made it sound alot like f*ckin.
I had alot of trouble with speech I guess, even up into 10 years old, my words came out awkward sounding, I know this because I have a recording of myself from that time.
Heck earlier this year I took a sentence test (well there were a number of tests), with a psychology intern at my school, she said later at my meeting that I came off as a bit awkward occasionally, not sure if that was written or speech.
I don't remember any of mine, but my little sister said "shoes" as "doodaloos" and called her grandma "Gunga Heed."
I don't rememeber when I was a kid, but my youngest child used to say "Balina" when she meant "vanilla".
I used to not beable to pronouce my S's and R's. I think I used to say my last name as Wobb instead of Robb. Was along time ago, can't really remember.
I used to say IDZ DO DUPY a lot, which Im sure is not the right spelling, but in Polish it literally means - go to my ass. Its kinda like go to hell...butt not.
Butt. not.
Ha.
I pronounced ice-cream ice-scream. It was later when I learned what ice meant, that I deduced scream actually was cream.
I used to say, "Back when I was older..." a lot, apparently.
