I believe that there is potential power in horoscope, stargazing, other thigns of that nature. How often it is utilizd or to what practical application? I have no idea.
I accept that it is possible and I firmly believe that some forms of Divination have been used before.
I say im not superstitious at all, but i will perform certain rituals just-in-case
sometimes lol like if i spill salt ill throw a pinch over my left shoulder or
ill knock on wood if i say something has never happened to me or to
someone....and i fking hate it if a black cat crosses my path...which btw
happens a hell of a lot! Also street lights are always turning off when i
drive by them....i dont know what that means tho but it weirds me out!
Superstition is for primitive cavemen.
Yeah, no offense supreme but I'm pretty sure you're supersticous.Quote:

Being Superstitious Is Bad Luck!!!!
And I ask, what is your reasons for being supersticous?:P What makes you think black cats is a sign of bad luck, lucky numbers and so on. And horoscopes is totally lawl, too. Might just be the most generalized sort of events that they know will happen for most people... and adding in new meaning into them all of the sudden when new planets are discovered (because oddly enough, those planets didn't have any effect before we knew of them. This happened during the time some of the furthest planets in our solar system was discovered, of course just astrology in general). A big loud roflmao I tell U!
Personally I believe its all a bunch of garbage that've followed humans through history:P
If you believe in it you don't consider it superstitious...
i'm so fucking superstitious i could be an old sea captain.
black cats crossing my path, salt over my shoulder ,broken mirrors, knocking on wood,no looking into mirrors anytime near midnight,no black bags on ships/airplanes,never set off on a trip on fridays, never look at the new moon over your left shoulder, walking under ladders or arched trees, going out after dark on friday the thirteenth or the october full moon, not speaking of the little people...and i also have several lucky charms i made myself because the stupid commercial ones you buy in the store don't work.i have a horseshoe, left hind rabbit's foot, four dream catchers,a cat skull (no i didn't kill the poor cat),cat whiskers,a good luck wooden bracelet,a wooden arrowhead, three crosses, two bibles by my bed,a white wolf picture over my bed, mirrors facing my window and door, two four leaf clovers, and several turkey/woodpecker feathers.ironically my lucky number is thirteen followed by eight, eighty three, seventy two, and three. i'm pityful.
It's kind of funny how many different cultures and religious bases you've got covered there. Jewish, I think some Greek, Native American...
All blending together in a melting pot of superstition.
Im unlucky, Hence the 13 in my name....
Wow ray, your the most superstitious person I know!
i'm not like over the top superstitious, but well i do grow weary of the old black cat hings, and like breaking a mirror. i wont do some weird dance if i break it or f a cat crosses my path, but in my head i'll be like 'okay, youll be fine, no need to worry...' then i might nock on wood.. (i do believe in knocking on wood...
I think it's funny how everyone who's proven themselves to be supersticous has pre-empted it with "I'm not really supersticous, but..."
Well, I wouldn't do that last one. But not for supersticion. he he.Quote:
btw, would you put a hat on a bed, open an umbrella in a house and/or
would you put shoes on top of a table?
But at least Ray came out and said, "Yep, I'm supersticious."
fine!!! i can be..... its like im halfway there? u know?
lolz
