      Bipolarity

I was reading about it earlier because of an essay I've got to do. Anyways, I read that bipolars usually feel like crap. Someone with a bipolar disorder gets all the feelings that we never want to experience: sadness, anxiety, GUILT, hopelessness, self-loathing, and isolation. I absolutely hate feeling guilty. They also get aggressive at times. So basically, it sucks to be bipolar because you're always depressed and you get unpredictable mood changes. Bipolars also get angry real fast, but I love being angry. ^_^

So there was this part about bipolarity that caught my attention. Hypomanic episodes. Hypomania is generally a less extreme state than mania- i.e. you laugh at things that aren't funny or you go a little psycho. Anyways, when bipolars experience hypomanic episodes, they start thinking in a extremely clever way and their energy increases. They also get brilliant ideas.

I think that when you become hypomanic, you use more of your brain. I would love to have hypomanic episodes. I'm not bipolar, but I think I got something like a hypomanic episode once. I felt that I could outsmart anyone and I became very sharp. I wish I could feel like that more often. It was a wonderful sensation.

People can get brilliant ideas in any state of mind, depending on how much that person is paying attention to their thoughts.

Just keep in mind bi-polar people experience both ends, the mania and the depression, just like each of us do, only to greater extremes and/or in quicker succession.

I hate being angry. I can be angry, but usually don't do anything about it, so I end up being upset with myself for not doing anything on top of whatever I was originally angry about.
