I've been giving everyone points throughout the game.
If I've given an inordinate number of points to him it's because he's one of the people I prefer to have a conversation with.
But I'm pretty sure I've given him two or 3. I've been adding to him more often recently cause I like him and want him to stick around.
Like I said 100 or so posts ago, I'm watching my "friends'" backs, on my own, without prodding or requests from them.
None of them knew they had me watching out for them until now that I've said I'm getting Grod's back. He can vote me down for all I care, I'll still + him every so often.

And I think Grod has only given me one point so far. Not a very strong alliance, don't you think?


And we've only been playing for a few weeks. Not "decades" ;P

You wouldn't be saying that if you knew how close Grod and I once were, and how much I hate UM (he gave me more than enough reasons to despise him with all my willpower). So what if it's a game? You guys seem to forget that the objective of a game is winning it. And to think Grod betrayed me to win this game is kinda heartbreaking.

Jesus, Allah, Buddha, Krishna, and Shiva man chill! It's just a game. Btw, I don't think any alliances have been formed aside from ClouD's public one :P People, I think, in this game realize that it's much more fun to play not being on a team. I said it before and I'll say it again, teams are for paranoid weaklings that need help.

p.s. As Timothy stated, it's just a game...in SB. One that's fun, shouldn't taken personal at all. That's where the fun diminshes :( Btw, if I trash talk in this game? It's only because I'm treating it like playing halo on xbox live...we get kinda serious and trash talk then too lol...but we never take personal slugs or forget that it IS just a game.

You guys are all trying to sound like you have committed no sin. I'm pretty sure many of you, including you Jeff, have been very competitive about this. See Cloud and Grod, for example.

Funny and worth noting is the fact that no woman has been crying out loud for winning this game. I think it's a male thing - pride, honour, manliness, victory, competition, etc. Human behaviour is funny in that way.

My desire to win is still the same, the game to me is still the same. What disturbs me is Grod's attitude towards me.

but yeah, its just a game, an awesome one, and one that will probably end up in DV favorites, if people dont take this too seriously.

"competitive" is a pretty broad word, we want to win, some more than others but its not our new purpose in life. for instance, ive been conversing with grod for the past few days, i convinced him that i would vote for him if he repayed us, so i squeezed some info out of him, and stabbed him in the back. it was a dick move, but i know he wont resent me for the rest of my life for it.

i probably nullified the seriousness of my post with the cat-girl, but either way, my point has been made.
