In this thread, Jeff777 makes the rules relevant to this game, as the creator of the game. Any amendments will be made by him. Without his say, no such changes will be made. I'll be backing Jeff777, as friend and as administrator.

This game is not just "Senseless Banter," it is a serious game. This doesn't mean it can't be fun, but it's not Calvinball. Someone who hasn't even posted in the first eighty-some-odd pages isn't going to just pop in and change the rules to make it impossible for themselves to lose.

Let me break it down for you: if you do not want to play by the rules of the thread, then don't play at all. Go participate in one of the many threads with less stringent guidelines, or start your own thread. Who knows, you might garner some sort of following. I think there is a Calvinball thread around here somewhere that you may feel free to resurrect. You can make up all the infallible rules you want in that game. In fact, that's the only real rule.

I feel I am being fair here. If anyone feels that I am not, please do PM me to let me know. This is an existing game, with existing rules, that has been going very successfully for some time now. It would be neither fair nor unbiased for you to suddenly be allowed to dramatically alter the way it is played. Please read the stickies at the top of the forum.

In this, there will be no further discussion. All this is doing is pushing the thread off-topic. If you have anything further to say, please PM me directly. Any more off-topic posts in this thread will be deleted.
