He's a college age kid who's had essentially no life for the past 8 years(at least) he deserves to kick back.

I really hope he takes the high road(no pun intended) and says "Yeah I do drugs. I won 14 fucking gold medals and I do drugs. There's nothing wrong with it and in fact pot should be legalized" instead of what most celebrities do when they get caught and apologize for their "mistake" and shit like that.

I don't smoke but...depending on when that picture was taken (presupposing it was pre-2009 olympics) I think if anything more people would probably start toking considering Michael hit the bong and look what he accomplished.

Well he would have been disqualified if they found it in his system, it could have been years ago... it doesn't imply anything habitual. Of course to most soccer moms there's no difference between 1 bong hit and 39 per day

but then again he was a snowboarder and if you disqualified them for smoking weed then you might as well get rid of the sport entirely
