The date 12/21/2012 is supposed to symbolize some "great awakening." Perhaps this is the awakening of the dragon(s), along with many other entities.

In ancient Egypt, people took great care to preserve bodies of the dead, in particular; those of the Pharaohs. After scooping out the brain and other organs, these ancients were carefully wrapped, with cloths soaked in preserving fluids.

Perhaps it is these peoples who will give rise to zombies.

In today's age, we don't use as much care in preserving bodies of the dead, but we still practice ceremonial burial nonetheless.

Undead skeletons?

In either case, these bodies are kept in a safe place from the Earth's forces of nature (wind, rain, snow, heat...etc.) Six feet underground, in solid caskets. If Earth isn't Hell now, it certainly will be and unliving hell after 2012.

And before people start bitching and moaning...this isn't meant to be a serious post, I'm just throwing ideas out there.
