      Talking Sweet 16

Last night I realised i'm turning 16 this year but I have no plans of how to celebrate this awesome event.

So my fellow Lucid Dreamers I ask you to help me out. What did you do for your 16th or how do you plan to celebrate?

Oh and by the way I'm not as rich as those kids on super sweet 16, stupid snobs

So go crazy, crazy is good!

I cried myself to sleep at home, by myself, because I have no friends.

I advise you also take this course of action.

I think the friend I do have would be a bit taken aback if I cired in a corner whining about not having friends.

      Thanks anyway.

      Carrying on . . .

Celebrate every day of life and cherish it as special (of course I *have* to say that seeing how Jehovah's Witnesses don't celebrate birthdays lol)
My 16th birthday (and actually MOST of my birthday's) was miserable. I wanted to lose my virginity to the guy I was in love with but thankfully he was a gentleman
I had also dyed my hair black and when I was a teen my mom ALWAYS insisted on my keeping a perm in my hair and that year it was especially "poodle-ish" lol
It's the only birthday I actually remember (which isn't saying much because I have a horrendous memory). But I look back on it fondly.

Just for giggles and grins one year one of my friends, her sister and I rented a limo and just "drove" around in it making fools of ourselves. I was never googoo over guys so I just played along with them to make them happy, but they made up number signs (ratings) and flashed them at guys they thought were hot. We got all dolled up and everything. I don't recall it being a special occasion though.

      You're a Jehovah's Witness, Zhaylin?

Anyway, you should probably just celebrate with some family and friends and enjoy? 16 really isn't that special imo.
Or, depending on where you live, you could get totally hammered.

      EDIT
Oh, this is Senseless Banter. Obligatory off-topic pic:

How about you bring your closest friends to a restarant that you like. Bring a deck of cards (if you're into that). I'm not yet 16 either. Will be in Oct., but my friend did this and it was really fun. In restarant section, we were, like, the last people to leave. Hope you'll have fun
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

I've got a plethora of ideas... unfortunately for me, you're jail bait!

haha! I dunno, there's not TOO much you could do at that age, but I'd suggest something that's kind of off the usual ritual. It's somewhat of a landmark b-day, you gotta have something you could remember it by. Something a bit edgy... but keep it legal, of course...

      Most interesting pic, Tweak lol

And yeah, I'm a JW, but I'm currently disfellowshipped (excommunicated)
Special occasions ALWAYS sucked for me, which I guess is one reason I had no problem with no longer "celebrating" them.

But I have "gift day" for my kids every year. Usually it's over the summer and over the years it's kind of deteriorated into just me giving them money and letting them buy whatever they want (within reason lol).
And one "Sister" (not a Nun lol) used to throw a party for the kids every year at the park and gave them presents until she got too old to keep up with the tradition.
Though they hardly compare to a sweet 16 celebration, they were a lot of fun- karioke (sp!!), cake, "yankee swap" and board games and just general, run of the mill sort of fun.

I don't know if 16 year olds are into karioke these days lol. How about a DDR party

Try clicking on the last post you want to [multi-]quote.
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

Buy sixteen garden gnomes. Put them in a circle on a not too busy road at night. Then pour gasoline on them and set them on fire.

I can't figure out the multi-post quote either.
If I want to use quotations from a lenthy post, I quote the whole page, then break it down with [QUOTE (close bracket) and [/QUOTE (close bracket

Another way you can quote posts is by copy/pasting the comments in your reply and using the QUOTE command. Just reply using the persons name because it wont give credit to the quoter and after while people sometimes forget who said what

Copy-paste each post and put /quote tags around them, the old manual way. Not that I suggest doing this, but since the usual means has failed... Yes, I did this for many years I admit! I am caught! o.O

Go shopping with friends, invite 'em over, see a movie, buy a big cake, skydive (I would never do this), ride a motorcycle into a burning train to the blaring music of the Beatles or maybe sleep in. I have a feeling I'm late with these suggestions, oops.
