Freak attack lol

Omg, I thought i would share this to you

I have been tryin 2 lucid dream for a while now, And still nothing, I was doing constant reality checks etc, Auto suggestions the whole thing N so on.

Now...
The weird thing is,
I was trying to go to sleep , i was tryin 2 think about lucid dreaming etc. then all of a sudden i woke up. i did a reality check, i looked at my alarm clock, and i was like ok, closed my eyes, turned my head, turned it back to the alarm clock. and there was nothing on, i noticed that ALL THE CITY and the streets power went down, EVEN THE STREET LIGHTS, which never ever happens... so i freaked out, i was like, this must be a lucid nightmare/dream. I couldn't see anything I got up and i just become aware that i was in my room but still i could barely see anything i was like ahh this is crap.

I started to panic i nearly had a heart attack.
I got that scared i was like ah whats going to happen next.. Will somebody open the door and try and kill me or something. So i screamed for my family. HELP I CANT SEE. WTF (screamed out loud) then no answer. i was like omg this is a definitive lucid nightmare/dream so i panicked even more, I got up. Started walking over to me parents room, even thus i still live with them in real life ( I am 18 currently...) still no reply so i knocked on the door, nothing so even more , I panicked then all of a sudden me oldman (dad) got up and said the powers off i was like yeah, Then I tried to go to sleep. Scared and panicking with no lights on. Apart from my Mp3 player light, then i was like ahh im goin 2 sleep i cant bare this sacredness i have to try and wake myself up. I set my mp3 player to leave the light on all night, Then all of a sudden the light turned off. My mp3 player turned off. I was like OMG now im even more scared. So my heart was going crazy at this point. I quickly tried to put it back on. It went on. then i set it again. Luckily this time it didnt go off. I went back to bed. thinking, Ill wake up tomorrow ask my parents did this all happen. So i woke up in real life. Me dad was awake so i asked him, did the power black out, he say "yes" but even thus he did I still kinda thought i was dreaming. scariest thing ever. The confusing on the brain.

Even thus i haven't had a lucid before. I heard u cant tell. So i panicked and believed it was.

When It was night and the power was off. I did the hold hand over nose and try and breathe whilst mouth is shut, Lucky i knew it wasn't a dream, But even then i was scared and at a state of, Is this real ? am i dreaming etc... LOL it was SCARIEST thing ive EVER done. Apart from seeing a ghost in real life. Which i experienced. Yes and i aint crazy (lol)

lol i totally hate it when you freak out a, everything becomes waaaay worse than it actually is. like suddenly you see every shadow move and it's definately in the shape of a murderer, coz they have definate shapes and then ugh, it's just not fun at all haha

When the city lights, etc.... went off, you should have sat on your bed and did a couple of RC, more than the nose one, since, it can sometimes fail. If you find that they all for the most part test for not dreaming(ignore clock one though, since, it doesn't help if clock is off), then its obvious that you aren't dreaming and that the power went off. Usually, the best thing to do is just go back to sleep

thats actually quite hilarious.

Somehow I could never imagine myself confusing dreaming and being awake that badly but i guess if your the nervous, jittery type...

LOL i did hand reality checks, I did every reality check in the book, clock, mirror, if i could see. text reality checks etc.

I was still in confusion, It was pretty funny when i think about it, LOL (kinda like) I thought my brain would outsmart my dream, And because im thinking so much about reality checks maybe it pictures them "real" in the dream more vivid then others. lol

Haha this happened to me once, i thought it was the apocolypse because car alarms where going off and all the lights in the area were off and started freaking out big time, praying and stuff, and then my mum walks in and is like "Power cut hun, you okay?".

Haha i was so scared.
