I've never seen Rome before either therefore it must be a fictional place right? We're limited by our perceptions and subjective experiences therefore we often times make asinine assumptions (albeit ones we presume are logical) about something in its entirety. So you have "yet" to come across an atheist who uses exclamation marks etc. but have encountered many christians who do use them. By your logic, every atheist in the world refrains from using punctuation symbolizing emotion and every christian in the world, does. As I said earlier, pretty major generalization there Kromoh. Now if you were being facetious that's one thing...to be adamantly convinced about this is another.

I have noticed something similar. Anyone trying to explain a paranormal concept tends to use capital Letters in front of Random Words as though Trying to Glorify the CONCEPT they Are trying to communicate.

I'm a Christian and the only time I use caps is when I'm trying to emphasize a point. I use emphasis in speech all the time, but people can't hear how I talk over the net (excluding mikes), so caps is the easiest way to show inflection.
Exclamation and question marks tend to be used as needed. I do have a bad habit of letting my words fall into nowhere with "......" lol

As a general "rule" athiests pride themselves of being logical while zealous Christians are known for being emotionally driven. In my encounters, more Christians go overboard than athiests wrt caps and marks. But I have seen the reverse true.

Yeah, this topic better be satire and not serious given the pure lack of studies or evidence that show Christians do this more often than someone of any other faith (or lack thereof).

This is, of course, coming from a Christian who has a great respect for punctuation and the English language.

I'll just second the above, since that pretty much says it for me as well. Of course, I never venture into religious discussions, but rather avoid the things like the plague. It's better for my health.

P.S. It's really hard to take you seriously with that Sean Faris signature, Kromz. I really just want to vomit every time I see his sultry glare. It's actually quite disturbing, seeing that looking out of your computer screen at you. Plus his right arm looks dislocated.

Who is flaming? Some reasons of why your premise in post one might be misguided have been presented. Seems pretty civil to me.

The majority (notice I said majority) of Christians are closed minded, brainwashed individuals who were brought up believing thier religion. Thus, its thier entire model of reality. If it was proven wrong, that would cause them to have to rethink all thier beliefs, and change everything they believe.

They cannot let that happen.

They dont conciously know all of that, but thats whats going on.

SO. Heres how an argument would normally go. (The ones I've had, at least..)

Atheist and Christian argue. Christian gets proven wrong via logic from Atheist. Christian cannot take it, Christian yells at Atheist and throws every insult and name they can think of.

(Note: I'm not actually an Atheist, I'm not a Christian either, I've got my own beliefs.)
