This is the sort of game thing for the movie "The Grudge" that's in the cinemas. Try the game above, it's pretty freaky.
If you're on 56k, skip the intro and leave the game for 60 minutes, then come back - it will of loaded all the rooms then so you don't have to wait.
It is really freaky, actually. I haven't watched the entire game, I hide it under a window. The sound is freaky enough...

Yeah, there's always one macho man who can't appreciate a horror movie that dosen't have ninjas running out wielding chainsaws about 15 seconds into a shallow plotline. The game is good if you like, get immersed in it. Sorry about the lack of super chainsaw wielding ninjas though :P

just played it, it is 11:45pm and i have my light off. i made my sister and her friend play it, my sister crapped herself (not literally,mind) and her friend said it was kinda scary. very nice.

Well, I finally played it. First time, I went upstairs, saw the creeping Ring-ripoff girl-demon-thing, ran back down the stairs, and was killed somehow. The second time, I didn't go upstairs, and nothing happened -- I also couldn't get back upstairs. Hmmm...
Did you read the tasks you got? No? Okay then. Don't expect an endgame though, you don't get anything for completing the tasks without dying. Just enjoy the freaky stuff.Quote:

The movie is apparently a remake of "Ringu" or something, and the Ring is a sequel to Ringu, and the americanized version of the Ring...it gets kinda messy.Quote:

And yeah, it is pretty scary. I didn't play/watch all of it though, and there's still daylight outside.
Lastly..
lucky me, traditional american family with broadband connection, linksys wireless router and a netgear wireless card for a very, very old Toshiba Thinkpad laptop. It's awesome.
But now there's a new computer at my disposal..
