Why Are People Getting So Emotional Over the Elimination Game?
Seriously? WHY!?!? It's driving me nuts!
-I know of some who've blocked their friends on MSN because they sided with another faction.
- I know of one person who incessantly called someone a bitch because they kept voting them down
- I sent a "two days" type death note to a member (being in the spirit of the war/battle game) which I thought was funny...apparently this user didn't find it funny at all.

Do both of us a favor, don't respond to this.
Read the tagline of the game folks. Seriously...it's a strategy game and I feel sorry for anyone who went into the game thinking otherwise. This game is pretty much a political campaign in its rawest form. If I'm in the wrong than I sincerely apologize. If I've hurt anyone's feelings I sincerely apologize...but let me remind you...while playing the game I've always been IN THE SPIRIT OF THE GAME. Pretending as if I AM a soldier in a war...nothing has been personal to me about this shit.
It's fun, it's exciting, invigorating and 100% IN CHARACTER when there's talk about the game or things related to the game. So why some get upset over it is beyond me.
Sure, noone wants to die...fair enough. But really...c'mon. When I died last game, sure I was upset but I went out in style and went out in the spirit of the game.

The sky burned with the fiery glow of crimson as thunder roared and the mighty winds howled. Jeff tried to move his hand but could not...a vision flashed before his eyes of his loved ones nailing his hands to a 10 foot tall cross. His shoulder length sweat and blood drenched hair strands dangled before his face as his head hung with grief.
Oneironaut: 777... -cough-....
Jeff looked up and to his right. What he saw grieved him more. He saw his good friend Oneironaut hanging on a cross as well...
Oneironaut: Jeff...I will most likely perish before you pass away from this feeble plane of existence...
Jeff continued to listen to Oneironaut with a heavy heart.
Oneironaut: Jeff...I only ask that you allow me admittance into your castle up in the clouds.
Jeff mustered up enough strength and raised his head to gaze at Oneironaut.
777: Truly I say unto you, today you shall be with me in paradise.
Jeff looked on past the screaming angry mob wanting him dead and upon a mountain top, not too far off. Upon it he saw a figure in a black hooded robe. The figure pulled back his hood revealing his totally black eyes. He was souless, merciless and was that which the people I loved embraced at this time. Little imp-like demons with wings danced around him as he cracked a smirk. As he turned to walk away with his demonic cherubims...I noticed a marking on his sleeve. It read "nn". The nameless one...he who shall not be named.

Do not let them see you despair. Instead, look down upon them in resilience. Show unto them the faces of the honorable, and pray only that their children grow to know the same righteousness and iron will of the men whose deaths their parents so applauded.
...See you on the other side, my brother. :cooler:
So I ask you...why do people take it so seriously? :? I am seriously...very seriously considering not bringing this back 6 months from when it ends because of some concerns I have based on things I've witnesses already.
