Infractions right away is a bit harsh, a PM with a warning from a mod/admin would surely suffice for the first ... offence.

I agree, bad grammar is teh suxx0r. Grammar nazi's are not the answer though, peer pressure is (not STFU posts though). When people realize that bad grammar and text message type abbreviations are not considered cool around here, they will stop using them.

I like the grammar police, I had a police car as my wonderful signature. Also, if someone does 'tlk liek diz' in a serious manner (serious because I enjoy talking like that) needs to be showed the "Don't be a dumbo, use grammar thread".

I think noobs should be banned right after their first posts if they use objective personal pronouns in the subjective case, especially the really friendly noobs, but only after they get cussed out by the staff. Using an apostrophe in an possessive pronoun should be grounds for criminal charges. Well, you could at least screw with them and tell them you've called the police.

P.S. I believe it is possible to relay a coherent message in less than 10 characters, and I find more often than not, that the effect produced by a one-syllable reply is more effectual than many of the 10 character + messages deliverable. Therefore, I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IF THIS NEW LIMIT WAS REMOVED.

also, a "noob" hijacked someone elses thread and goes off with terrible grammar. I just said thanks for sharing, and it made me feel good inside. Of course someone is going to take it down and I'm going to recieve a PM but it still made me feel good.

OK. Sowwy Nina. This is really my only crappy thread/post. I was only trying to say that 4chan burned my eyes out, and I wasn't prepared for it.
EDIT: I think SB needs some more Guidelines. Mark75 had a thread that just said "Content will be added later" and the title was "Excuse this thread" Sb needs more specific rules.

Or maybe Mark75 shouldn't be a mod. He rarely does anything expected of a mod and spends his time creating such threads as these.
