In my opinion yes, it's potentially really bad for lucid dreaming as a whole. I've analyzed many of his videos and they are almost all promoting misinformation. Think of it this way, thousands of people's first introduction to lucid dreaming will be through someone who can't even explain the MILD technique (can't even pronounce it!), and from someone who gives them entirely false expectations. Many people will give up, think lucid dreaming is a scam, or just waste hours of their lives chasing ideas that are false. Those thousands of people will also share those bad ideas, filling forums, websites, social media, with information that incorrect - making it even harder for new people to discover true information about lucid dreaming.
I really try not to criticize people unless I really have to, unless I see it as something bigger than me or the person involved. Lucid dreaming is such an amazing subject, for it to get smothered in misinformation and even harder for people to research is a very bad thing.
Watch the video, and you'll see just how badly wrong he gets MILD - which is one of the most basic techniques there is.
I would recommend everyone avoid that channel and not support it. There are plenty of other channels and content creators who put in the hard work to get their facts right and are helping to share lucid dreaming in an honest and responsible fashion.
The problem is, a lot of the information he shares seems "ok" to those who are still learning - but if you've been at this as long as I have, you can see all the mistakes that will send people off in really bad directions. It's clear to me that he has probably barely even had a lucid dream, if at all, as many of his comments are just so out-of-touch and lacking in understanding, that it's obvious he's just guessing and making things up.
Most longer-term members of this forum have infinitely more knowledge than this guy. Remember, at this point, he's now the ambassador for lucid dreaming as far as YouTube is concerned, is he really the person we want representing this subject? Is he someone you feel has lucid dreaming or lucid dreamers best interests at heart?
I fear many many people will miss out on lucid dreaming because they get misled by this guy.
It's pretty sad and frustrating.
