My Uberman-2
Hello there, I've tried the Uberman-2 schedule (4.5 hours of core sleep and 2 20 minute naps) semi-successfully earlier this year, but my timing was kind of bad since I tried to start it in the last week before University started and I had to cancel and go back to a "normal" sleep schedule.
Now that semester vacations have started, I'll give it another go, since it worked really well for the short period that I tried it. "Accidentally", I had only 4.5 hours of sleep last night so I thought today was a good day to start up again.
My problem is that I cannot regularly take my naps, so I will probably have to make up solutions as I go. Perhaps you'll have some advice for me, otherwise I hope you enjoy this kind of sleep-diary.
Night 1 (07/19 - 07/20): 4.5 hours, 1AM - 5:30AM
Felt surprisingly well in the morning, but I got really tired when I returned from work.
Nap 1: 25 minutes, 2PM - 2:25PM
It refreshed me pretty nicely. Unfortunately I couldn't take my second nap, so I will try to get three tomorrow.
One thing I accidentally discovered was my result on Brain Age for the Nintendo DS. I gave it a go for fun (haven't played it in a long time) and surprisingly, just before going to bed (and feeling horribly tired), my Brain Age is 22, the same as my actual age. I don't know if I will keep taking the test before heading to bed every day, but I thought it was a fun detail to throw in.
Night 2 (07/20 - 07/21): 11:30PM - 4AM

Night 2 (07/20 - 07/21): 11:30PM - 5AM
I tried to get up at 4AM, but I went back to bed for an hour after switching off my computer alarm clock and DS. I was pretty tired, but I needed to go somewhere at 6AM, so it wasn't too bad.
Nap 1: ~30 minutes, 10AM - 10:30AM
After I returned from the doctors, I watched some morning TV with my girlfriend and fell asleep for about half an hour. I was really refreshed afterwards, but not having to do anything (and my girlfriend taking her turn falling asleep) didn't help fighting the tiredness. I managed to get around pretty well though.
Nap 2: ~20 minutes, 2PM - 2:20PM
Took a little nap while my girlfriend went for a shower.
It's nearing midnight now and I'll try to get up at 4:30AM (normally getting up at 5:30AM due to work). I have the feeling it'll work better than last night since I'm not THAT exhausted as yesterday. Hope I'll get my regular naps tomorrow. Good night!
Brain Age before going to sleep: 24

Wow good luck! I tried Uberman but I'm taking a break now and switching to Everyman.

Thanks Queen :) Hope it works out for you.
Night 3 (07/21 - 07/22): Midnight - 4:30AM
Managed to get up at the planned time, but I was really tired and almost got back to sleep. I managed to convinced myself not to, but I'm feeling the exhaustion (headache and various strains/pains in my back/arms/muscles etc). I really hope this disappears by tomorrow, as I hate this feeling.
Nap 1: 20 minutes, 6:30AM - 6:50AM
Still got a headache, but I'm a little more awake now. Time to go to work.
Nap 2: 20 minutes, 2:10PM - 2:30PM
I've had back-pains all day, but after this nap (which I thought was way longer than 20 minutes - I thought for a while that I had forgotten to turn on my alarm clock) I'm very refreshed. Still a little sluggish, but not as bad as before.
Nap 3: 20 minutes, 6PM - 6:20PM
I decided to take a nap whenever I feel too tired, so I took one just now. I hope tomorrow I won't be so sluggish/tired overall. Still feeling pretty well after my naps.
