      No alarm clock

Hi again, I was wondering how one could train themselves to wake up without an alarm clock in the morning? I hate waking up with one and it kills my recall...

      Any tips?

Drink a ton of water and aim to wake up at the end of a natural sleep cycle. This takes some work on your part to find out when your sleep cycles end (how many minutes, etc.), but then you can do something like this:

      90 minute sleep cycles.
      Target: 6 am
      Multiples of 90 minute cycles:
      4:30 am, 3:00 am, 1:30 am, 12:00 am, 10:30 pm.

Go to bed at one of those times, most likely 10:30 or 12:00 at night. Drink a lot of water prior so you have to go to the bathroom sometime during the night. If you do enough experimenting and time it right you will have to pee after about 6 hours, which is when you would want to get up anyway.

I have been doing this successfully for a few days now and feel great.

Oh, ok! I will try that tonight. My only problem witht hat is that I don't want to be having dreams where I am looking for a bathroom. Plus, when you wake up, it really hurts because you need to go to the bathroom... but I will try tonight. Thanks!

I tell my self over and over before I go to bed what time I want to wake up. When I do this I normally have a +/- factor of 5 minutes of the time I wanted up. Most of the time though I wake before the time I wanted.

      Take Care,
