      Should I seek medical help?

I am not sure what else to do. I have been experiencing symptoms lately that are accompanied with many other illnesses, but I am not sure if it is that serious. I have been confused lately, and I feel like I am insane. I thought I was really possessed by demons earlier today, and that makes me even more insane. I feel weak, and the only reason I ate today was because I felt weak. I still feel like there is no food in my system. Also, I have been having delusions frequently, and checking mirrors to see if there is some demon inside of me. I am very frightened, and do not know what to do. I feel warm, and also look away a lot when I am focusing on one thing. I feel like I do not know where I am, kind of. Everything looks different. I brought the bible in with me when I took a shower to scare the demons away.
Another odd thing I did was talk to my reflection, asking it to get out of me, and if it was afraid that I would find out there was a demon in it. I am afraid of myself. I do not know what to do. Also, I am nauseous, and had a headache earlier today for about five to six hours. This is accompanied with a sore throat. Also, I feel like when I stand up that I am not really all there. I took two Excedrin a couple days ago then later some Nyquil. Today, I also had two Excedrin. I did not pass the overdose mark for Acetaminophen, so it’s probably not that. I am pretty sure that is all of my symptoms, and I know I sound like a schizophrenic. I am very confused and scared. I need all of the help I can get.

This may sound random, but I had a dream I shot a little girl, and that is not normally my train of thought, if that helps at all.

Are you sure it isn't just the effects of the pills themselves, or did this start before you took anything? I feel strange even when I take a normal dose of Tylonol.

Well, I wouldn't look too far into the shooting the little girl thing. That was just a dream...sometimes weird stuff like that happens. In fact, it probably happened because you have been freaking out a bit. What you describe seems like it could be schizophrenia, but maybe not. I remember freaking out one time thinking I was possessed after I smoked some of that new legal stuff that is going around. That was the last time I shall ever smoked that stuff. If you can't seem to shake the feelings and it is causing you to be depressed, I would recommend talking to a professional/doctor/therapist. They will be able to identify a problem if there is one. Did this just happen all of the sudden?

Well, this happens often, usually I freak out and feel very sick, it has happened once a year for the past three years. Not sure why it is almost the same time, usually during spring. There is always a different cause. I also had a weird attack thing and started screaming/shaking in the corner. I kept repeating stuff like, "I'm okay, I'm okay!" And screaming and just rediculous stuff. My mom said I was crazy and she would take me to a mental place. I was really freaking out. This may be from lack of water, because I have been taking a lot of salt recently to rid my sore throat. But there is an infident number of causes.

I'd pay a visit to the doctor, there's no harm in doing so and finding out it was nothing to worry about after all. If there is something going on, the doctor/therapist will be help you more than anyone on this forum can.

These are psychotic symptoms and you NEED to see a doctor.

My sister was diagnosed at one time with schizophrenia, which was odd because it does not run in our family. It was a long time before she was rediagnosed not with schizophrenia, but with a bipolar condition that older women are prone to that also produces hallucinations.

At anyrate, those of us who dont go through these things are the least of those one would want to ask an opinion of. Solar is correct, see a doctor, but see a medical doctor first. Common physical problems can cause great mental distress.

It would help if you did not believe in such things as demons and ghosts, there are enough real things to torment one with without imagining things.

I evidently ate something at the chow hall once that sent me into a strange state, from which I eventually passed out. I went into a complete state of nihilism. There was nothing but blackness, no future, no desire. It was such an extraordinary state to be in, I kept myself calm just to learn about it. I came back around some time later and just went back to work.

Hey Lynn, I have a story to share. Im not 100% sure why this is happening to you but I would love to help you.
At least 5 years ago I was really good friends with my buddy Ben, We did drugs together (not the best choice).
He claimed in the past and the present this Dark Cloaked figure would visit him, and he was so frightend of this character.
We never took hallicinagens, we always ended up with cocaine or Extasy (again not the best choice). One day we were at a party in one of the back rooms.
I tell him to wait here and imma get some other buddies to smoke a bowl, but when I got back to the room Ben was in the bathroom,
When I looked in, he was in the fetal position and he was shaking vigourisly. I could feel something cold around us but I never seen anything and Ben was so afraid.
I started to comfort him, I sat next to him and I calmed him down. Ben turns to me and says He doesn't like you. I looked around the room with confidence and I said Good.
Ever since I was around that entity never returned, Soon after high school Ben moved away and I still talk to him alittle bit, Im definatly sure this darkness doesn't show up anymore.
Ben and his mom are catholic, and me i've only gone to church once when I was little, but my family is religious and yes I believe in God. Always remember light triumphs over darkness. light has won, is winning and will win completely over the darkness. We must constantly find it and shine it.

I aint no Doctor or Reverend, but if you feel.... Truely feel you need help, you're not alone and people are out there to help ya =)
I don't usually pray but I will for you I hope to see you get better.

I suggest you to go to a doctor because i think it is the symptoms of diseases so you should check yourself to the doctor and need advice.

Yeah go to a GP first though. They will do blood tests etc. to see if it's a physical problem. It could be something as simple as not getting enough of something in your diet. But definitely get them to check you out. If it's not physical they will refer you to a psychologist. Make sure it's a psychologist and not a psychiatrist. If the psychologist cannot help you with the problem, if there is one, they would refer you to a psychiatrist so you can drugs prescribed, or they will tell your GP to prescribe you something.

      Good luck.

I used to feel something was watching me all of the time, and I realized that it was me. I'm also a bit paranoid at times, but its just an evolutionary adaptation that isn't used anymore similar to your appendixes. Think about it, back in the hunting times, being paranoid meant that you are more watchful of your surroundings, therefore being less likely to be eaten...however we dont need this adaptation in today's society as much..

Demons only exist in the mind of the person who creates them. the "demon" is a part of you, after all, where else can it have come from?

A few words of advice...I believe you are both the prisoner and prison guard in this situation. Please do not visit a psychiatrist, he will give you bad drugs that are harmful to your body...I suggest a psychotherapist. Also do some deep nreathing to calm your nerves down
