I can't sleep on my stomach, as far as I know. When I lie on my stomach I begin to feel my pulse beating near the place between my rib cage against the bed, which bothers me. |

In what position do you sleep? |

I usually sleep on my side, but it can vary because my chest can either face upwards or downwards. I rarely face a wall, I always need to aware of what happens in the room, so I look at the door and windows mainly. |

I think I'm weird because I sleep on a couch-mode-futon, but I alternate between back, side facing back, side facing away from back, halfway between back and side with back in corner of futon, stomach facing back, and stomach facing away from back. I have no idea what I prefer, it depends on how tired I am or how my back is feeling. |
|
Initially on my back, turning on the side for variety or when I get uncomfortable (like the times when I can't sleep) |

well it sucks that you have the back problem thing, i personally sleep on my stomach back or side... depeds what im feeling like, however i find it confortable to have the entire body wrapped in sheets including my head... all that sticks out is my mouth and nose for breathing. |

I sleep on my left side. |

I guess I will be the only one to confess that I sleep in fetal position(or a position very similar, I am not quite in fetal, about 3/4 to it from lying straight). It is very comfortable but for a long time I refrained for doing it because I thought it was bad for my back. According to an article I read though, it is actually good for you because it helps alleviate pressure on your organs. |
