I have on several occasions been deep in a dream then suddenly jolted out awaking shivering, teeth chattering, the whole bit. This just happened again last night and it's summer in texas, I don't use A/C. Does anyone have any ideas of what this is about? I've searched the net, but not been able to come up with any real answers.
I am not quite sure what would be causing this. Do you have a window open? It's possible you are sweating in the night and then the breeze cools you down.
No breeze, as of late, my home could best be described as a sauna. That I am aware of, this has only happened when I was very deep in a vivid dream. Thanks for your attempt to help me find an answer.Quote:

Don't freak yourself out, but go read up on the symptoms of anxiety attacks and sleep apnea. It should be fairly obvious if you are experiencing something like this. Probably not.
