Thread: Falling asleep

So...recently I just returned to college where I live in a dorm right next to a high school football field. The band practices at 7:30 every morning and the dorm itself is fairly loud. Lately it's been nearly impossible for me to fall asleep at night and I can't figure out why. Last night I tried going to bed at 11 but didn't end up falling asleep probably til 2 because of the noise/light from my room mate, the dorm, and whatever else is going on. So my question is, is this just because I just moved in? (about a week and a half ago). Is this just a short phase that'll pass? I don't know what's going on, but it's really hard to function with this little sleep and I would appreciate any help given. Thanks.
