Ok. I need to know what's going on.

Something strange has been happening to me ever since near the end of December 2011 and continues til' this day. When I fall asleep and wake up later in the early morning (like around 2 - 5 a.m.), sometimes I feel as though I'm engulfed in an aura that is flaring up. When I think about increasing this aura, it increases a lot... And my whole body begins heating up. Yeah, it's strange as heck but try to follow me here.

This happens a lot when I'm laying on my back and usually stops when I turn on my side. It also happens while I'm laying on my side but rarely. I also feel as though there's something inside my fibula (lower part of the left leg). Whatever it is, it's affected by what I think and it's probably the cause of whatever is going on.

This makes no sense to me. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you are gaining awreness of you energy body. The sence of energy is something we all have, but is very reperessed. In that half sleep state you are more open to it. The energy is the same thing people see in aura vision and use in AiKiDo. The fact that you have seen it without trying tells me you should look into one the systems that can show you more about it.

Sounds like it could be a symptom of byproduct of sleep paralysis. I know strange, full-body sensations can occur during SP because of the way your muscles are tensed up. If it always seems to originate in the same spot in your left leg it could also be a pinched nerve or something like that from the way that you sleep.
