Interacticing with people in your dreams

I'm still yet to obtain lucidity in my dreams but one thing has always been very curious to me.
I've been reading dream journals and noticed people have constant interactions with some people who are always in there dreams, i had thought that this could be a dangerous thing. i didn't know if these people could be spirits or entities trying to get into your mind, i do believe in the spiritual world and yet it seems almost farfetched i thought it could be perfectly possible. I'd just like to know that i would not be in harm if i had interactions or conversations with people in my dream.

Well of course you can believe whatever you want about spirits and that kind of stuff. I personally believe that dream characters are just projections of your subconscious, making them not dangerous. If you believe in shared dreaming, they could be other minds or whatever. Either way I don't think dreaming is dangerous in any situation. I think the MOST damage possible would being "changed" by a very impacting dream, which COULD happen with or without talking to DCs. So yes, talk to DCs!

If you talk to DC's you're simply talking to yourself, but that's what makes it so interesting!

Well, look at it this way. You are dreaming and interacting with DCs everytime you dream. The only difference is, that in lucids you are aware of it. Some people believe that some DCs are just creations of our minds, but some DCs could be other dreamers or other entities. I always try to be nice to everybody, just in case

But I don't believe you can get hurt in your dreams, afterall, we all dream every night, wheather lucid or not. It helps to have happy thought before going to sleep - they will attract Happy dreams
