      Can't sleep on side/back

I can't seem to lay down in either position for too long. After a while I get "uncomfortable" and switch. I probably switch positions 50 times before I actually fall asleep (which is an estimate, cause I never remember the original falling asleep).

What do you guys do? If you're like me do you just deal with it and stay or what?

Try staying in the one position for as long as you can, as it must be your mind testing if your body is asleep, which is what you want it to think. It does get uncomfortable but you should be able to fall asleep rather quickly if you stick to lying in the same position.

Extremador, one thing I recently did was to add a memory foam topper to my mattress. I have a very firm mattress and it was apparently too firm for me to be comfortable for long. I would toss and turn from side to back to stomach throughout the night, This pad has made an ENORMOUS difference. I'm sure there are other brands out there, but this is the one I got:

Amazon.com: Queen Size 3 Inch Thick, 4 Pound Density Visco Elastic Memory Foam Mattress Pad Bed Topper: Home & Kitchen

Fairly expensive, but worth every penny. Make sure you also have good pillows. If your pillows and mattress are old, you might have dust mites, something to check.

I definitely believe this will make a difference. I slept in my brother's bed for a couple of days when he went out of town and I was taking care of our puppy (who stayed in his room throughout the night) and I definitely slept more comfortably.

Once I get some money I'm definitely getting one!

And thanks for the replies. I thought this thread had gone unnoticed!
