Looks like you and I are the only ones who can focus deep enough to hear the High freq. beep Ive always been so curious. |

Many times when I sleep I kinda like to imagine a scene happening. Although imagery will usually be weak, what really interests me is that all the sound becomes a high pitched noise fast. The imagination usually takes over by this time and I can't quiet stop it from taking course. And each sound keeps getting into this high pitched whining noise. Usually it kinda makes me jump. There are a few places to post it, but this feels the best place for this sort of post. Anyone get this sort of thing? Anyone know if it's HH? |

Hi there, yes your quite right, the high pitch noise is to do with the beginnings of vibrations. I get this every night and kind of enjoy it lol. Sometimes I get a shocker of a vibration go straight through my head and it is even painful at times. It's nothing to worry about just try to encourage it when it comes on. Do you also get the vibrations that rush through you? If not its something to try to encourage, it doesn't always send you into a lucid or OBE, whichever way you look at it, especially pre- sleep but it can do. Just enjoy it, and when the vibrations are mild it can be quite pleasant just lying there feeling them rush from head to toes and back up again. Happy sleeps |

If I think about the tone, I can hear it. I believe it is a natural sound your ears make. Does listening to the sounds do anything, or is it just annoying? Can I visualize better or something from hearing it? |

I have become quite interested on the layers of lucidity, and I use them to measure how lucid a dream is. For more information on these layers, click here.
