How much sleep do you get?

      Spoiler for sorry:

The amount of sleep that we need varies among people. Most adults need around 8 hours of sleep per night, while teenagers need one or two hours more. Also, women tend to require a little more sleep than men do.

So, on average, how much sleep are you currently getting per night? Most people do not get enough, but perhaps this dream-oriented community gets more. If you don't get enough, or get too much, why is that, and are you trying to change your pattern?

Lately I've been getting roughly 10 hours every night. But that's just because I started my short vacation from school. On regular schooldays though, I only get around 4-5 hours because of my hectic schedule and workload I guess I'm making up for it now! Haha.

As of now, I'm not trying to change my pattern, though I'm trying not to go overboard since my body clock tends to switch during vacations. Also, I take naps in the afternoon so I don't feel too tired at night which makes me sleep too much.

Not enough. T-T I put 7 hours, but it fluctuates around that and frequently dips a little lower. I also wake up a lot so it actually turns out to be a bit less than it seems. I just have a nasty habit of waking up and then immediately wanting to start doing things telling myself that I know I'll still be able to fall back asleep afterward but knowing I won't even actually try. Like right now it's 7:44 AM and I'm still in bed and I haven't really gotten enough sleep yet, but I'm on DV for some reason.

I guess I'm not really trying to change my pattern, but I should be. I often wake up nauseous if I don't get enough sleep, which is no fun. Hmmmm....

I put 8 hours on average myself where I quite often include a short WBTB. However as in Aly's case, my sleep pattern does get disrupted by my LD/recording attempts, so my actual 'quality' sleep is lower.

I need 9 hours of sleep everyday to feel refresh and I'm getting 10 hours now because I'm jobless. But 10 hours at the wrong timeslot, I need to aim to sleep earlier which has been said many times but no actions are done to deal with it.

If I need to work, I probably will get only 6 to 7 hours of sleep. Or even lesser if I decide entertainment is more important.

I either get 4-6 hours (school days) or 8-10 (weekends), thanks to the fact that I really, really suck at getting myself to bed.

Try to imagine a life without timekeeping. You probably can’t. You know the month, the year, the day of the week; you have a schedule, a calendar... Yet all around you, timekeeping is ignored. Birds are not late. A dog does not check its watch. Deer do not fret over passing birthdays. Man alone measures time. Man alone chimes the hour. And, because of this, man alone suffers a paralyzing fear that no other creature endures.

      Around 12-14 hours on average.

All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.

I shoot for 8 hours a night. Though if I don't have to get up I often sleep longer.

Teenagers should have 9-10 hours sleep daily.
Adults should have 6-8 hours per day.

4-6 hours. Ironically, Dream Views is what keeps me awake.

I sleep way too much. I like to sleep so I can dream but I find myself oversleeping and taking long naps throughout the day just so i can dream

I officially envy you. A little.
