I can't, for the life of me, wake up at a decent hour. >_<

It's no problem on school days or days when I have stuff to do in the morning, because if I have an absolute need to wake up in the morning, I can do it. However, on lazy weekends or extended breaks from school, it's not going to happen. I'll set my alarm for 9:00 AM or something like that. It goes off. I wake up, turn it off, and within two seconds I'm back in bed sleeping. Even if I put my alarm clock on the other side of the room, I'll become a master at popping out of bed, running over and turning the alarm off, and jumping back in bed without another thought.

I hate sleeping 12+ hours a day, because I feel like I'm wasting so much time. I'd love to work out a decent sleep schedule, but for the past five years or so I've failed miserably to see the sunrise. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get my butt out of bed?

That always happens to me aswell. But it's not a problem for me, I love to sleep 13-14hours a day. But like you said, you can wake up early if you got something to do in the morning. So just get something to do? Like meet up with friends, or anything else

I can see you sleep through your bedroom window. You're killing yourself with lucid dreaming.

I can wake up at 6 for school during the week, but on the weekends my parents say it takes an hour or two for me to wake up, and that's after 10-12 hours of sleep. I think this happens to a lot of people.
