      Light sleeper or heavy sleeper?

      Pretty straight forward. What are you? Or maybe you are somewhere in between.

      I would be interested to see if being interested in dreams changes the results compared to the general population... There has got to be some survey like that buried around in the internet somewhere!

      ~~~
      Personally, I am a very light sleeper. Turn my door knob, I am awake!
      I actually have no clue. Sometimes I'll wake up during the night because someone went to the bathroom(beside my room) and other times I end up sleeping undisturbed with my nephew running around me banging a pot. I guess I'm in between? I think it has to do with how aggravated I am on any particular day. If I'm pissed and someone sneezes I flip out in my mind " OF COURSE THEY HAVE TO SNEEZE WHEN I'M TRYING TO SLEEP...GHOOD."
      Aw, that sucks. I lucked out because my bedroom is in the basement (it is a finished basement and not cold at all), and everyone else is upstairs. I never wake up in the middle of the night from noise, sometimes I do without reason though. It is probably from one dream I never would remember.
      Sometimes when you wake up it's because a centipede was crawling on your face.
      A friend of mine once had an earwig lay eggs in his ear when he was sleeping. This took place in the basement of his house.
      I voted light because i'm not really a heavy sleeper but i'm not a reallly light sleeper either. I've been with people who are heavy sleepers and that's def not me but usually i have a hard time sleeping once i wake up. Sounds like thunder, sirens, dogs barking or what not don't really wake me up but things like my alarm (never sleep through it), someone saying my name (or other stuff), someone opening my door, someone turning the light on etc do wake me up. And i'm not the type who wakes up and they like have their eyes half shut, are in a haze and don't know what's going on then fall back asleep; i'm usually pretty alert which is why i can never get back to sleep...
      Heavy sleeper. Sometimes I will wake up periodically throughout the night, but it's natural and not caused by anybody or anything like a noise. I've slept through fire trucks blaring their sirens at my next door neighbour's house, terrible thunderstorms, etc. Sometimes if I've already gotten like 7 or so hours of sleep I'll start to sleep pretty lightly.
