      About MELATONIN

      I have some questions about melatonin. First of all, can it be bought by under aged (16y)? I dont have any allergies or insomnia etc. im completely healthy just a little bit skinny so what amount should I take and when? Like should i take it when trying to WBTB or at the beginning of the night? (i go to sleep at 22.00)

      Here in US, it's sold in health stores. No age restriction.

      Why do you wanna take it?

      One use for it is when you take Galantamine for WILDing. Some people have trouble falling asleep with GM, so they take melatonin.

      0.3 mgs is enough to induce sleep. (That's 1/3 of a 1 mg pill.)

      To make possible lucid dreams more vivid and to make them last longer, atleast that's what iv read a lot in the site's threads. But yeah do you have any clue when should it be taken? In the middle of the night when trying to WBTB/WILD or at the beginning of the night?

      Melatonin is supposed to help you fall asleep, not keep you asleep. Actually i took too much of it once and i woke up in the middle of the night.

      If you decide to take it be sure to do so before you go to bed and not in the middle of the night. Melatonin is also used to treat jet lag, if you travel from Europe to asia, for example. What it does it in addition to having the potential of making dreams more vivid is to reset your biological clock. So if you go to bed at 00:00 and decide to change to 23:00 then you can take it at 22:30 or 23.00 for couple of nights. If you take it at 3.00 am this will tell your body you are just going to bed and you run the risk of messing up your sleep cycle. So next time you will have harder time going to bed before 3.00 and you want to sleep until later.

      melatonin is naturally produced in the body from serotonin, and the production is activated by darkness. Staring at PCs especially before bedtime, bright screens, too much light inhibits melatonin production. Melatonin production also declines with age, this means younger people produce more of it...

      I went to the downtown pharmacy and bought ones that have 0,3mg each 120x. They had ran out of the 1mg ones but Ill try these ones tonight 1-3 pills. Ill post tomorrow to this thread if I noticed any difference in the dreams vividness or length. But I believe they help me fall asleep more than that.

      So i took 0,6mg before going to bed last night (which is a pretty small amount? I try 0,9mg after couple of days) and I fall a sleep pretty easily. I recalled 3 dreams but they weren't any longer but slightly more vivid. I woke up at 5am and visited toilet and returned to bed. After 40minutes of changing my sides on the bed i had WILD but it turned into a lucid nightamre thta lasted about 30seconds. I woke up a bit more hungrier than usual and with a smaaall headache.
      The WILD: I begin to see white coming up from the side of my right eye. The color gets brighter and brighter until I take my last breath and get loosen from my body and enter to my mind. Its all dark and i think to myself :"Isn't there supposed to be a dream?" Right after that i see a big white clown mask which actually wasn't that scary but I can hear Joker (Heath Ledger voice) speaking something. Next thing I see is bunch of muscular gay couples in a hotel going into the rooms. My vision concentrates to one of the doors numbers and texts. Then dream jumps into the part where I'm in a crowded mall type area and those zombies from World War Z (fast ones) are killing people. Im now materialized and im one of them too and i kill like couple of people without any control. I manage to use my dream control like with 1/10 power and i choose to help the people to escape by attacking the zombies instead. I jump on one of the zombies when it tries to attack a woman and the dream suddenly brightens up and I wake up.

      Thanks for sharing! Do you think it was easier to WILD with the supplement or it was the same as usual?

      My melatonin experience (10 mg tablets, also has 10 mg vitamin B6 in there as pyridoxine hydrochloride) -

      I managed to fall asleep easier, but each time I used it I would wake up in the middle of the night. When I finally woke up in the morning, I felt rather groggy.

      I dont actually know, I think that I got more motivation when I tried melatonin. Like I thought to my self "Now its going to work" so it was more easy, but I also think it worked for me. Melatonin effects differently with everyone atleast that's that Iv read.
