Dreams start to get more and longer as you progress sleepying throughout the night. In some people early REM dreams can be very vivid so they remember them more, giving them the impression that they have been dreaming all night long. My possible recall starts after sleepying 3-4 hrs, but I best recall those after 5-6 hrs of sleep. There have also been situations where I have fallen asleep directly in REM, but these are rare. |
