      Spicy food and sleep

Just had this experience about spicy food and dream recall, maybe you can take something from it.

Tuesday of this week I was inspired by people who ate whole habanero peppers like it was easy and one guy who ate a whole ghost chili pepper in one bite. So I thought I should up my game with spicy food. I went to california tortilla and ordered the spiciest thing they had then went to the hot sauce wall and poured on the two hottest sauces they had out of around 100 different kinds of hot sauces.

So I went home and I began to take the first couple of bites, it was extremely hot. I turned on pokemon and the episode felt much more entertaining than usual, looking back it was probably because I had an endorphin rush from all the hot sauce in my food, it actually gives you a high if you eat food thats extremely spicy. I finally finished the whole thing after drinking lots of milk to help it go down. But thats not the main issue.

I tried to do a WBTB that night and I woke up perfectly fine 4 hours into my sleep cycle, but then i could just feel my stomach burning from the spicy food I had last night. I couldn't even go back to sleep for a while it was so crazy. I could feel how spicy it was and I'm pretty sure if I eat it again I'd get a hole in my stomach, plus the fact I basically sh*t fire xD. I had no dreams that night either and it messed up my whole sleep schedule and everything.

So lesson learned is don't eat incredibly spicy food because it will f*** you up, and you won't even remember your dreams lol. If anyone else has any similar situations itd be fun to hear about them.

Spicy food will in no way cause fat.

Spicy food should have no effect on dreams unless it is a slightly benifical state caused by mildly altered sleep.

Most people do not know high levels of pepper type spices get one high. It is a pretty bad ass high if you can stomach it. Hot mustards and wasabi can cause it to. Good fun.

Try using sour cream with your hot items and it will cause less stomach issues. Vegetables with fiber will reduce the rest room fire, but pepper based spices just cause that. The price you pay for the high. Try using horse radish based spice to avoid this.

I love really hot food (habanero level of heat) of all cuisines: chinese, thai, indian, mexican, it's wonderful going in, but I have come to really not like it coming out .
