When i'm falling into deeper state of sleep, feel like I'm falling

Is this normal or is it just me?

Cause when i'm falling deepr into sleep i feel scared like i'm falling to the ground, so that fear makes me twitch and then i go back to awake. That's one of the reasons it's been hard to fall asleep.

I've had brain injury before and i have twitches every day from time to time and i've also started having balance problems where i feel the world is moving and also like im falling over. The twitching i had always but the balance problem and feeling like i'm falling is a recent thing since 2 years ago. i had my injury in childhood. I also have absence seizures( eye starring) which are also called petit mal sezures.

But anyways, does this sound like a problem i should be checked for? I'm going to Neurologist soon
