      Hallucinating When Tired

I have it happen pretty often where when I'm up late writing an essay, my keyboard that I'm typing with will start moving back and forth, then I'll have to keep readjusting my hands to be able to keep typing on the moving keyboard.
I will start hearing voices usually at a whisper level but other times normal talking level and rarely screams.
Then when I go upstairs to get ready for bed, the shower curtain always seems to be moving, and I'll see people in the corner of my eyes if I start getting too freaked out by the moving curtain.

And today I was reading an article on the computer and all of the sudden the text on one side of the page just started slanting upwards, like it was being pulled, but only one paragraph.

Does this happen to anyone else? I never really thought it strange until I told one of my friends about it and he never had it happen.

Well, I personally get quite a lot of visual disturbances from time to time. Even when I was much younger. I really didn't mind them as it made looking at things quite interesting when it happened.

This could be linked to HPPD which you can read about HERE
However, if your not consuming Hallucinogenics, then that is most likely not the case.

Also, I encourage you to do some research and see what you can find if your worried!

Well I looked it up some more, Wikipedia basically says either you're about to fall asleep when you hallucinate, waking up when you hallucinate, or you're insane.

I don't think I'm insane since I only have the hallucinations when I'm slightly tired, but I'm not in a dream state or anything since I am still reading or typing.

Otherwise all the search results point to sleep deprivation and hallucinating close to the time you go to sleep or wake up.

Also I'm currently clean of hallucinogenics so it couldn't be that. An interesting thing though is that I also have visual snow all the time which is something that is linked to HPPD.
