Are our eyes Centralized when we sleep aswell?

      Hi Guys!

I've got a question about one thingy
When we are in NREM Sleep are our eyes centralized like they are during the day when we look just forward?
I sleep on my left side and i'm wondering if my eyes while i'm sleeping are sliding down and facing direction of left or are they just centralized like always when looking forward during the day?

This question might sound a little stupid yet i'm asking it due to new wild technique which i started to practice (EILDS) and if i were to keep have my eyes in direction on left while i sleep on left side would they really re-centralize themselfs?

      - Thanks

I honestly can't tell for sure, but whether they centralize themselves or not is irrelevant, because...

You dream. Not just in REM, but throughout the majority of your sleep cycle, even in N-REM sleep. The dreams might possess some different characteristics, but rest assured that eye movement still occurs in these phases, even though it might not stand out as much. This is not to say they won't return to their position (whatever is it) at some point before REM, but it would a literal guessing game which wouldn't be any helpful for EILD purposes.

Edit: after reading that EILD description (this is WILD for all purposes), I don't think you should worry too much: I'm not calling the creator a liar, but how does he know his eyes centralize when he falls asleep if he's...asleep? Just focus on the basic steps of WILD and you should be fine

Trying out MILD? This is how you become skilled at it.

      Hi,

Thanks and sorry for late reply
I've had lots of success with this technique yet there's one thingy that still bothers me

Can my body get used to the technique so it becomes ineffective?
I'm naturally sleeping on my left side so during EILDS i keep my eyes in direction of right
And i'm wondering, can my body can get used to the technique and instead of staying conscious till entering dream just make me go unconscious
Acillis told me that he changes directions from time to time to confuse body (And i haven't had any luck with direction of left unfortunely)

So i'm kinda confused what should i do

      - Thanks

      Edit:

To be honest i doubt that technique will stop to work, it seems quite similar to FILD. Just instead fingers eyes.
If it were the case then FILD would fail after specfic amount of time for people. And even if my body gets used to this technique then 'used to technique' effect will worn off probably in few days or weeks, and then i'il just modify technique to prevent it from happening
