      Sleep Deprivation Experiment

Holy crap, it's been.... almost a year, or maybe even a year, since I made my last post, hasn't it... There's good reason behind it, however; Family stuff, school, etc, it just hasn't left enough time to let me re-master it, and just like the doctor of the Kenyan track team, my patience rain thin, trying to juggle everything at once.

But, I come back, and with a bang, too. I'm doing a sleep deprivation experiment, in the hopes that I can access my mind whilst being awake; dreaming whilst awake. Not a lucid dream, in the unconscious realm, but a real dream, in the conscious realm. I want to see how sleep deprivation affects the psyche after a given amount of time.

If today is today, then what was yesterday's last week's yesterday's next week's day after tomorrow?

May I ask, what is the purpose of this? I mean, you mention several reasons, but none of them seem to justify harming your health like that: why sleep deprive yourself to test something when you can consult sleep literature and check whatever symptom occurs during the progression of the sleep deprivation?

A few things about it, actually.

As it is the second to last week of school, I have 4 huge projects that can't be done unless I pull an all nighter, otherwise I won't be able to get them done; the due dates are Monday and Tuesday.

I figured that since I need to stay up really late to do these assignments, I might as well observe the effects of sleep deprivation, as it's not too out of the way.

I'm not trying to "harm" my health, it's just that I have little time to work on these assignments, and I need to stay up to do them. Since I need to stay up to do them, get them proofread 5 times over, and make sure every topic is tackled, I'm going to face the effects of sleep deprivation head-on, and since I'm not going to do this again for a long time, I'm going to document how it affects me, as it affects everyone differently.

I've been planning for this weekend all week long, and I knew that I'd have to pull an all nighter, so I made sure to go to bed early in the week so that it'll hinder the negative effects of staying up this late.

Documenting the status of my sleepless trek takes 3 minutes every 2 hours, and that's a small price to pay to know how sleep deprivation affects me, so I can use that information to plan ahead, for future reference.
If today is today, then what was yesterday's last week's yesterday's next week's day after tomorrow?

I clocked out at 30 hours.

But, considering that I only have one assignment left that I worked on all night and day, it's only 1/4 of the way done, even when the primary focus was it, plus it's worth 200 points and due on Monday, and I'm probably going to fail the class if the assignment is late, so I'm in a position where I must have one more go at an all-nighter.

I woke up at 8:00 PM, and tomorrow's Sunday, so the maximum I'll stay up is til 9-10 PM, considering I still need to get a good night's sleep.
If today is today, then what was yesterday's last week's yesterday's next week's day after tomorrow?
