i haven't seen water bed in reality, but from what i can see from movies they r usually transparent and made from some sort of rubber. I think if u move a lot(change position) in sleep then u wont sweat a lot. But if u spent whole night on ur back probably some vacuum is created and u might not feet hot but still u can sweat.
As I said i never seen an actual water bed so these is just guessing.
Is it warm or cold sweat? How often does it happen? And how long has it been since u first noticed? Do u wake up in the middle of the night or in the morning?
And have u been to the doctor regarding that?
A water bed is simple..
I bet you seen a normal bed?
Well… today’s ’normal’ bed… (?)
It got a madras under. Then a “top madras” …
Same with the waterbed, only the “madras under” is of water, and can be temperature controlled. (Mine is set to 20-25 degrees celsius, by the way.) And the “top madras” is called a pad…
One can get thick pads, and thin pads, etcetera…
I got a thick one, to avoid the “vacuum” you speak of.
Anyways: To the question. (And thank you for asking.)
Is it warm or cold sweat?
Cold…
How often does it happen?
Not to often, but when it first set in, it might last for a week, or even weeks…
And how long has it been since u first noticed?
For ever… I always have been like this.
Do u wake up in the middle of the night or in the morning?
Depends, but it is usually both… (And then some; like waking up right after I fell asleep, and so on…)
And have u been to the doctor regarding that?
Sadly, no… In Norway we all of a sudden got this “fixed doctor agreement”, and I ended up with a doctor I cannot stand… (My own bad, I know.)
Yet, I have no doctor, as it would cost way too much to go to see a regular one…
I really wish I could go see a doctor though… So that is one of my main objectives.
Money, money, money (!) … Hah... No wonder I wake up ‘covered in’/’dripping of’ my own “urine” …
I think that its good that its cold sweat, thou ppl dont like when they feel that.I would tell u to eat lass salt. Cause I think that i read somewhere that salt holds water in ur body. So that might be a reason. I eat without salt for a year now.
This is just a wild guess.
It can be many possibilities, and we can only guess here. Ur body might be just like that, there r ppl who always have wet palms of their hands. Or it might be because of anti-perspirant that u r using.
But i guess the good thing is that its happening for some time now. So it shouldn't be something serious. I am not a doctor. :)
But as I said, definitely go see one.
And if there is really no way, go to some medical forum, there r real doctors who can give u definitely more info than I can.
Good Luck
It lasted for about 4-5 days.. Gone now! :)
I hope I never get this again, but I guess I need to find the cause.
I do not eat much at all. (No work, no money...) [But, I am applying as I type this, so that might be sorted out soon.]
I'll rememeber your advice! Thanks..
All of them! ;)
