      Ambien/"Sleeping Aids" and Dreaming

So I'm currently on a Rx for Ambien because i have problems getting to sleep. I was interested in dreaming and stuff way before this though. Well after i started taking this i found the dreams i recall to be A LOT more vivid. Anyone have any evidence or experience they wanna share about this topic?

Yeah, if you take ambien and stay awake, they make you hallucinate. A girl I used to know gave me one because I have really bad insomnia. Well I took it and I was using my laptop before I went to bed, and all of a sudden.... all the letters on the screen started shaking and they moved to the left side of the laptop. They got all scrunched up like a traffic jam of letters and my peripheral vision got all wavy. I passed out a few minutes later. That was a long time ago so I don't remember if it changed my recall or anything. It's a very good sleep aid, and a pretty cool hallucinogen if you're into that stuff.

I wish I had some now. Been up for 3 days now.

Fortunately, I am not a cat.
