      easy sleep

I've found a pretty effective way of getting very tired, as long as you're somewhat tired to begin with. first, lie in bed in a comfortable position. Then tense all of your muscles as hard as you can and slowly relax them. tense them a little bit less hard and relax again. repeat this until your body is completely relaxed. To make your eyelids heavy, slowly close them and open them slightly less. Repeat this until your eyes are closed. This method will make you not want to move a muscle, and could potentially help to WILD quicker

Hmm...this is an interesting idea, at least. I might give it a try tonight. It sounds vaguely similar to some of the other relaxation techniques, but only vaguely.

      that sounds ... interesting lol

      i will try it

whenever i'm on school holiday, i can never sleep in a decent pattern. i think it's because i'm not mentally tired enough as i would be during school, so i lie in bed from 10pm til about 2 or 3 am before i feel tired enough to sleep, and then i end up sleeping til about midday, and then falling asleep at 3 am etc

Years ago when I believed in (and attempted) astral projection, I found myself dropping off more often than I would have liked.

An easy way to fall asleep is to lie on your back completely still for a prolonged period of time and stay this way for about 5 minutes after you feel the need to turn over, when you finally get to turn over, it feels incredibly comfortable.
